The Role
As a Scheduling Specialist at Float Health, you will play a vital role in driving operational success and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll be responsible for coordinating nursing care by interfacing with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, and maintaining relationships with all parties throughout the life cycle of a recurring patient. Leveraging various technology platforms, you'll ensure timely, accurate, and efficient scheduling and communication to support seamless care delivery.
This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. You'll handle high volumes of communication and scheduling tasks-responding to or actioning approximately 40 Zendesk tickets, answering up to 30 phone calls, and scheduling between 10 to 30 patient visits per shift. DRC has a contract with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), State of California, to provide Clients' Rights Advocacy services for clients of each of the 21 regional centers located statewide. That contract funds the Clients' Rights Advocate (CRA) position. We are a team of zealous advocates and disability generalists who are building a culture of teamwork and working for a world where all disabled people have power, are treated with dignity and respect, and make their own decisions.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The CRA advocates for people with developmental disabilities who are regional center clients, including people who reside in state developmental centers and community facilities. The CRA is a generalist who provides information, advice, and representation on a wide range of legal topics impacting people who receive regional center services. Examples are special education, Social Security, IHSS, healthcare and insurance, and living in the community.
The CRA works under the direct supervision of a supervising attorney and in collaboration with other OCRA advocates and attorneys in their advocacy and outreach efforts.
This position is in a location convenient to the regional center and is eligible for a hybrid schedule working both remotely and in-office. Currently the office is located at 150 Amber Grove Drive in Chico. The CRA may work remotely up to three days per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Advocacy - 70%
· Work in-person in the Chico office a minimum of two days per week, in collaboration with OCRA's Far Northern Regional Center team.

· Represent clients at administrative proceedings regarding education, public benefits, and regional center eligibility and services.

Position Description
River Partners' projects are large scale, long-term, and primarily funded through governmental agreements. The Project Accountant is responsible for organizing, supporting and reporting on the financial aspects of assigned projects. The position is required to provide detailed proposal budgets, accounting of time and funds spent, prepare revenue invoices specific to each funder's needs, enter and update detailed plans monthly throughout the duration of our projects and compare them to actual results. This position is a critical member of the proposal and project management teams, interacting regularly with Proposal Development, Scientists, Project Coordinators, Field Managers, and Corporate Accountants.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Assumes a leadership role with authority equal to the project managers and coordinators, forming a team of equals in partnership. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Financial Project Management and Administration
Lead progress invoicing for cost reimbursable projects, including validation of labor, direct expenses, subcontractor charges, equipment, and application of indirect cost rates (IDC), markups, or negotiated fee.
Prepare accurate T&M invoices, ensuring labor categories, billable rates, materials, and support documentation meet contract and client billing standards.
Review and reconcile project costs monthly to ensure all billable charges are captured and properly coded prior to invoice submission.
Interpret contract language to determine billing requirements, allowable costs, and supporting documentation expectations (including certified payroll, rate sheets, change order tracking, or backup detail).
Monitor AR related to assigned projects, support collections efforts, and proactively communicate billing status or issues.
Collaborate with project leads to review progress against budgets and work plans and ensure compliance with funding agreements.
Serve as financial liaison for sub-agreements and support contract compliance.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and revenues; investigate discrepancies.
Manage financial adjustments, change orders, and project closeout.
Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in ERP system
Review and analyze grant agreements, invoices, budgets, and expenditures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
Track and process grant invoicing and draws through relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
Proposal and Budget Development
Support grant proposal development by evaluating project objectives, milestones, and resource needs.
Review RFPs, bid solicitations, and project documents to understand scope and requirements.
Assist in creating and reviewing budgets for accuracy, compliance, and cost allocation.
Set up project codes in ERP system and ensure proper contract details, labor codes, and subcontractor entries.
Gain familiarity with River Partners' ecological and agricultural operations to inform budgeting and project flow.
Tracking receivables DSO and helping the Project Manager collect outstanding A/R invoices and recovering retentions
Collaborate with Project Team to arrange for advance payments on contracts and State and Local grants
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Federal and State accounting guidelines such as the Federal Cost Accounting Standards; familiarity with GAAP
Follows policies and procedures and ensures others do as well; makes suggestions to improve or streamline
Experience managing budgets and general understanding of contracting for deliverables and outcomes

Reporting to the Communities Energized for Health Program Manager, the Community Engagement Coordinator (Project Coordinator I) will be responsible for coordinating the project scope of work activities for Communities Energized for Health (CEH) and Rural Outreach for Advocacy and Resilience (ROAR). These components include, but are not limited to, volunteer organizing and training, decision maker outreach and education, educational visits and presentations, educational material development, meeting facilitation, technical assistance, and evaluation activities such as public opinion polls, property observations, and key informant interviews. The Community Engagement Coordinator will assist in writing reports such as bi-annual progress reports, proposals, and re-applications. Both CEH and ROAR work toward policy/systems change through education campaigns aimed to activate community engagement and address health disparities, specifically in rural, low socioeconomic communities to achieve legislated smokefree policies. The CEC will contribute ideas to business unit strategic planning and resource development.
