The Role
At QuidelOrtho, we're advancing the power of diagnostics for a healthier future for all. Join our mission as our next Senior Master Production Scheduler. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing the master production schedule (MPS) to balance customer demand, capacity, inventory targets, and business objectives. This role serves as a key link between sales, operations, purchasing and manufacturing, ensuring executable plans that support on-time delivery, cost control, and service-level performance. The Senior Scheduler provides leadership, advance analysis, and continuous improvement to planning process.
This position will be onsite in San Diego, CA.
The Responsibilities
Develops manage and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across multiple products, lines and/or facilities
Translate demand forecast, customer order and sales plans into feasible production schedules
Ensure alignment between the MPS, capacity plans, material availability, and labor constraints
Evaluate and resolve demand-supply imbalances using scenario analysis and trade-off recommendations
Monitor schedule adherence, on-time delivery, inventory levels and capacity utilization
Identify risk to execution and proactively implement mitigation plan
Support resolution of production issues, shortages, and schedule conflicts
Maintain accurate planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems
Leverage advanced planning tools and analytics to optimize schedules
Ensure data integrity related to lead times and capacities
Prepare the supply and capacity analysis for the S&OP meetings, providing schedule feasibility and risk assessments
Communicate schedule changes, constraints, and priorities to stakeholders
Anticipates potential expiration scrap and collaborates with commercial team to find a suitable use.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and responsiveness
Develop and document standard work, planning policies, and best practices
Mentor and guide junior schedulers or planners
Support new product introductions (NPI) and lifecycle changes
Performs other duties and projects assigned
The Individual
Required:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field
7+ years of experience in production planning or master scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Advance knowledge of MRP, MPS and capacity planning concepts
Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP) and advance planning tools
Proven ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities

The salary range for this position is $118,000 to $153,000 and is bonus eligible. **KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Achieve sales and revenue targets for the Computed Tomography portfolio within assigned accounts and territory;
+ Build strong relationships with radiology leaders, CT technologists, procurement, and Value Analysis Committees to expand Bayer's CT presence to promote Bayer Radiology products/services/solutions to exceed sales goals;

The Responsibilities
Supports management in the communication, awareness, and enforcement of the safety protocols defined in the Corporate and site-specific IIPP documents.

Supports the site as it relates to site safety reporting, metrics, Gemba walks, and elevating safety to the forefront at all levels of the organization.
Participates in the investigation of work-related incidents, injuries, near misses, and environmental non-compliances, and the identification of effective corrective actions.
Conducts routine EH&S inspections for compliance with the IIPP and external regulatory authorities (e.g., fire, air, hazardous waste, biological waste, air, wastewater, etc.).
Works with employees to evaluate potentially hazardous job assignments to develop Job Safety Protocols, policies, and training to prevent or reduce risk for injury.
Responsible for routine oversight of hazardous waste and biowaste lab services including outside services, supplies, pickups, and related regulatory paperwork and inspections.
Hosts Safety Committee meetings and leads associated projects.

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a trusted scientific expert and partner representing Bayer in the medical community through the dissemination of and education on scientific data related to Bayer products across the product lifecycle. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Medical Science Liaison, Stroke/Thrombosis are to:
Scientific Expertise
* Complete core training curriculum and basic MSL and Therapeutic Area (TA) Certification;

* Professional licensure with CEU documentation where applicable;

PURPOSE

PURPOSE

* Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills;
* Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines;
* Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings);
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Advanced degree (preferably in the Life Sciences, Pharmacy or business-related field;)
* 5 years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience in competitive landscapes;
* Experience selling in Institutions and clinic settings and navigating the P&T committee process;
* Experience in establishing and pulling-through in-patient to out-patient protocols .
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $120,960.00 to $181,462.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
