The selected candidate will follow established guidelines, ethics, and policies and protocols of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Each Orthopedic surgeon functions as a cooperative and collegial team member with the entire staff. Responsibilities also includes performing administrative duties, hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopies as well as basic fracture work. A robust orthopedic group with 4 physicians and 4 PAs is looking for an additional orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow and hand to support growing volume and demand. The main, newly renovated office is located in Statesville, NC with a satellite office in Mooresville, NC near Lake Norman. In-house x-ray at both locations.
Call schedule would be appx 1:7 with one weeknight and one weekend per month (opportunity for more as requested) from 2 local hospitals, 1 adjacent to Statesville office and 1 within 4 miles of Statesville office.
