Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment):
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program. Responsibilities also includes performing administrative duties, hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopies as well as basic fracture work. You will be expected to also provide supervision to Orthopedic PAs and Orthopeadic Residents from Rutgers NJMS Orthopaedic Program along with other assigned duties/task.


Work Schedule:
Primarily Monday-Friday, various shifts; required to participate in on-call rotation.

Travel: May

A robust orthopedic group with 4 physicians and 4 PAs is looking for an additional orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow and hand to support growing volume and demand. The main, newly renovated office is located in Statesville, NC with a satellite office in Mooresville, NC near Lake Norman. In-house x-ray at both locations.

Call schedule would be appx 1:7 with one weeknight and one weekend per month (opportunity for more as requested) from 2 local hospitals, 1 adjacent to Statesville office and 1 within 4 miles of Statesville office.

Salary:

  • Very competitive with additional call income from (up to) 2 local hospitals
  • Opportunity to share in group ancillary services (imaging, lab, urgent care, etc)
  • Additional value based care earnings through local ACO.

Physician should have comfort with general orthopedic cases required for call responsibilities.
