Primary Responsibilities:
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Create your own schedule within a 4-day work week
Focus is for general Dermatology.
Initial consults, follow up appointments, diagnose and treat various skin conditions
Perform in office procedures including biopsy, cryotherapy, excisions, electrodessication / curettage and other dermatological and light cosmetic procedures
Average 4 patients per hour (15 min increments) including in office procedures with flexibility to schedule longer visits for complex procedures

Key Responsibilities:
Duties in this faculty position will include primarily clinical and occasional teaching and service responsibilities. Some of the specific responsibilities will be as follows\: The attending pediatric anesthesiologist will personally provide anesthesia care 100% of the time. He/she will examine the patient before and after anesthesia, write pre- and post-anesthesia orders, confirm that the patient is ready for anesthesia before induction, manage the anesthetic period, and follow the patient for as long as is appropriate in the post-anesthesia period. The scope of anesthesia for this position includes most pediatric subspecialities including but not limited to pediatric surgery, ENT (including craniofacial), urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, gastroenterology, and acute pain. He/she should also be comfortable with regional anesthesia.
The candidate will primarily perform these services in the operating room or in radiology and will take their share of in-house and pager calls. Candidates are also expected to contribute to the teaching needs of the Department and the School of Medicine primarily through occasional medical student and fellow education at the bedside. There is no expectation to contribute to the research missions of the University.
The candidate must have a strong working and theoretical knowledge of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and experience in teaching Anesthesiology.
