UTRGV School of Medicine Department of Surgery is recruiting an Academic Vascular Surgeon. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong clinical capabilities in the field of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy. Responsibilities include clinical care for vascular surgery patients; teaching of medical students and residents. A track record of academic productivity is required, as the candidate will be involved actively in the research and academic mission of the Department. Minimum Qualifications MD degree with current Board certification, or eligibility for certification in Vascular Surgery. Must possess or be eligible for a Texas Medical Board full license/ABS board certification in Vascular Surgery/Residency completed at an ACGME accredited residency program and qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery at the UTRGV School of Medicine and appropriate hospital staff appointments.
