JOB SUMMARY:
The Material Handler I will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels through the movement of materials. This role will identify and document incoming and outgoing materials. The objective of this role is to ensure customers having their materials processed and shipped according to schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Pick, package and ship items in a manner to prevent damage in transit.
Report and communicate shipment statuses with management.
Perform safety inspections and internal audits of parts, systems, and processes.
Identify and locate parts within the warehouse and branch facility; keep track of parts movement.
Count inventory and ensure compliance with company standards.
Develop bills of lading and delivery forms.
Sort inbound and outbound material to proper fixture.
Prepare picking fixtures in support of picking process.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) or more years of general related work experience or High School Diploma/GED.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Knowledge and ability to use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).
Experience working in a high-volume warehouse with automated systems.
Forklift Certification.

Summary
The positions within Materials II are responsible for delivering parts and components to the designated work stations. The employee operates a forklift or tow motor to transport the parts. They must be able to utilize data from a computer or print outs to prepare parts for the stations. They must maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Load and unload trailers, including UPS and air freight, ensuring proper handling and secure stacking of materials.
Perform daily rack checks and validate inventory locations to maintain accurate stock levels.
Assist with inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and location audits as needed.
Accurately document material movements using scanners or manual logs in accordance with company procedures.
Cross-train in front dock shipping and receiving processes to provide coverage during absences or peak periods.
Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; perform 6S duties in assigned areas.
Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or material discrepancies to supervision promptly.

Purpose
The Material Handler/Driver role is critical in ensuring that production, prototype, and engineering vehicle build teams receive consistent and on-time support for all build related needs. Reporting directly to the Manager, Warehouse Operations, this position requires someone that can prioritize multiple tasks and perform high volume picking and kitting actions in an efficient and accurate manner. Further, this role will require local driving to support material pick ups and drop offs with third party facilities. This candidate must be flexible and will need to also support inbound receiving, outbound packaging, and system related tasks on an as needed basis determined by changing demand.
The Role
Ensure any parts shipping to or from a third-party location have all systematic transactions completed to ensure the inventory reflects the correct location and status of the material
Perform local pickups/drop offs between Divergent/Czinger and third-party locations and track mileage and time allocation between pick up/drop off using the department truck
Receive inventory into ERP system while collecting relevant data, and scan or file any corresponding documentation
Maintain accurate inventory counts and stock locations with MRP/ERP system
Perform regular cycle counts and report cycle count findings to management for approval
Report and track material stock levels
Perform kitting function in support of production operations in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring delicate and/or high surface finish parts are handled with care
Ensure all incoming parts have been received accurately and distributed to stock and/or relevant stakeholders
Contribute to maintaining a clean work area and department
Package and stage finished goods for outbound shipments
Operate a forklift, pallet jack or scissor lift to move material between the production line and inventory locations
Support the broader department metrics, goals, and objectives
Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor and/or manager
Basic Qualifications
Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
Valid US Driver's License
Ability to work independently with minimal direction but under guidance from supervisor
Experience and understanding of inventory management and production kitting processes
Proficient using Microsoft products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
Ability to work in a fast-paced /cross functional environment
