SUMMARY
The Project Management Intern is responsible for supporting, communicating with, and motivating cross-functional teams to complete project tasks on schedule and within budget.
YOUR IMPACT
Help in the creation and maintenance of project documentation for planning, requirements analysis, risk management, status reporting, project communication and quality assurance.
Responsible for monitoring and summarizing the progress of project(s).
Assist in the preparation of reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
Track cost, labor, production schedules, parts, etc. in support of the project.
Utilize MS Project to track and complete assigned projects.
Monitor product quality and process control; suggests improvements as needed.
Support the coordination and management of internal and external resources to accomplish project objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Job Responsibilities:
* Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.

* Communicate schedules and assignments to the crew members.

* Shuttle employees to and from auxiliary parking lots on sale days; provide transportation to employees parking inventoried vehicles at remote sites.
* Pick-up and drop-off employees and other Auction personnel to/from the Auction, parking lots, dealerships, customer locations/businesses, and other locations.
* Perform daily maintenance and routine checks of the van and clean and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with Market Safety Manager in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
* Work with manager to review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement.
* Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
* Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.

Minimum Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
* Work with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, integrated logistics systems and other functional areas to develop cost estimates for proposals and quotations
* Work with contracts (both domestic and international) to develop full understanding of customer requirements for the product and/or service being quoted
* Create a complete, accurate, and timely cost /price proposal for submittal to customers
* Analyze and relay the financial/business impact of a proposal internally to the finance team
* Take on and resolve special projects as assigned by the pricing manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field throughout the entire duration of the internship
* Graduation date on or after December 2027.
* This is a YEAR-ROUND opportunity. Individual must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for full duration or part of the internship.
