Two years of occupational experience outside the field of education.
Two years of teaching experience is required, preferably at the community/technical college level.
Demonstrated leadership in the professional setting. Three years of managerial supervisory experience at the community/technical college level is preferred.

Summary
Adjunct Instructors are responsible for the facilitation of student learning and the on-going development of instructional strategies that meet the needs of students and employers and promote student success.
The instructor will deliver American Heart Association (AHA) courses in accordance with AHA curriculum standards. Responsibilities include facilitating video presentations, leading lectures, demonstrating skills, administering skills testing, responding to student questions, and completing all required post-course documentation and rosters. This position may require travel to various training locations. As a course-based role, it offers flexibility-allowing instructors to choose when they are available to teach. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Learning Facilitation - Foster student learning by developing appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and support student engagement. Create learning experiences that integrate multiple delivery methodologies and instructional technologies to maximize student success, such as hybrid, in-person, virtual, and on-line course delivery.
Assessment - Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to help students be successful. Use data to measure quality outcomes related to student persistence, retention, completion rate, course success, and learning and to design improvement strategies based on the evidence.
Classroom Management - Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain accurate student attendance and grade records, maintain instructional environment with emphasis on safety, housekeeping, and equipment security, and ensure opportunities for student/engagement evaluation.
Team Participation - Support the college by engaging with the division, department, and team members, as well as staying current with internal and external changes and initiatives.
Business & Community Engagement - Build and maintain ongoing relationships with community, industry, and clinical partners. Proactively promote the College and our programs.
Student Success & Support - Serve as an advocate for students and collaborate with Student Services staff to retain students, close achievement gaps, and help all students be successful.
Professional Development - Continually improve knowledge and skills in emerging trends, current occupational practices and teaching through professional development activities, networking with regional industry leaders, and the integration of new techniques and technology. Maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and licensure required to maintain individual and program accreditation.
Non-Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the AHA curriculum.
Grade students post AHA exams and skill evaluations.
Complete rosters, evaluations, and paperwork accurately.
Stay updated on changes to AHA guidelines.
Participate in AHA meetings and trainings, assisting during peak times, or performing minor administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Associate Degree or higher preferred.
One or more years' experience in teaching.
Must be an AHA Instructor - Not American Red Cross.
Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor certification in one or more of the following: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Must be certified through AHA (not American Red Cross).
Valid Driver's License.
Subject to FVTC's Motor Vehicle Records Check.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency utilizing learning management system.

Site checks to include the following:
Complete inspection of the physical space to ensure residents are in compliance with House Rules and Extended Supervision terms set by the Department of Corrections (DOC); including verifying they are within property limits, performing household maintenance, participating in lawn care and snow removal responsibilities, visitation policies, non-possession of contraband and maintenance of a drug, alcohol, and crime-free living environment.

Meet with Program Director on a regular basis via phone, video conferencing, or in-person to report on the on-going TLP operations at given location(s).
Complete required documentation, which includes:
Incident reports on all program rule or law violations.
Record daily summaries of resident interactions, resident consequences issued, suicide watch and related issues in communication log.
Complete site check log each day to include exact time of all site checks and whether there was face-to-face contact with the offender(s) during each checks
Maintain thorough knowledge of offender(s) criminal, family, mental health, employment, and substance abuse histories in order to assist in comprehensive supervision within the community.
Assist Director in ensuring residents are maintaining sufficient food items for three meals per day.
Collect, inventory, and secure property of residents who are unsuccessfully discharged within 24 hours of such discharge.
Hold accountability to TLP Director. Supervision is ongoing and occurs through individual consultations, in services, departmental meetings, and as-needed when requested by the DOC.

• Not generally looking for particular/specific IT application knowledge or IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience and technical acumen to confidently challenge the team at times, and know when estimates are way out of line or work can be accomplished faster.
• Experience using project management tools is required. CA Clarity is preferred.
PROJECT/PROGRAM EXPERIENCE:
• Must have managed IT projects with budgets &; $1 million
• Experience managing IT programs &; $3 million is preferred
• Must have led at least 10 full-time equivalent resources on past IT projects.
• Must have led resources in geographies outside the US. Prefer candidates who have experience with team members with English as a second language, Cultural nuances Sensitivity & awareness to time
zone differences
• Agile project experience is a plus, but not required
EDUCATION:
• Four year degree is required
• Strong preference for IT degree (computer science or information technology/systems)
CERTIFICATION:
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required

Key Responsibilities
Ensures 100% donor and customer delight by treating new and donated items with respect and showing appreciation to the customer.
Ensures production goals are met per the direction of the team leader, including table rotations at Outlet.
Proficiently prices products per guidelines and ensures only saleable product makes it to the floor.
Recognizes items to send to e-commerce based on e-commerce guidelines (in the retail environment only).
Maintains a safe, neat, clean and organized work area, ensures walkways are clear of debris and merchandise and dumps garbage as needed while using all proper safety equipment.
Adheres to proper operation and handling of material moving equipment.
Changes out full gaylords utilizing full forks method (pallet jack) and labels full gaylords.
Safely bands and shrink wraps pallets of various products securely for transportation and build/breakdown gaylords.
Properly and accurately handles all paperwork such as manifests, packing slips and trailer content sheets.
Assists team members and customers with oversized items.
Ensures there is always a variety of quality product priced and ready for the store floor (in the retail environment only) and maintains accurate track of warehouse inventory.
Serves as a positive role model, demonstrates a can-do attitude and assists in peer training and coaching of new or developing Team Members.
Responds to price checks and serve as a resource when needed.
Operates power equipment once certified (stacker and power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor, tipper and forklift) and loads/unloads trailers.
Monitors compactor pressures and alerts leader when pick-ups are needed.
Serves as back up store maintenance.
Safely sorts hazardous donations into proper categories and value streams (in Outlet role only).
Ensures accurate fulfillment of merchandise, supplies and fixtures (in New Goods role only).
Photographs donated goods prior to listing (in E-Commerce role only).
Proficiently and accurately describes items listed for auction in written form (in E-Commerce role only).
Qualifications
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements
Strong attention to detail.
Basic math skills are preferred.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Willingness to jump in and help where needed.
Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred.
At least a basic level of competency with computers or a willingness and ability to learn.
Experience in operating a power pallet jack, power stacker, pallet jack, flatbed, tilt master, dolly, tilt truck, forklift, gaylord banding equipment or compactor is preferred.
Willingness and ability to work various hours which may include holidays, evenings and weekends.
At least a basic level of competency with Microsoft Windows and digital cameras is preferred (in E-Commerce role only).
