Summer: Our Bus Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of school-age children and camp staff to and from field trips and Park District swimming pool locations. Routes will be both local (Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates) and surrounding areas within a one-hour radius.
School Year: Our Bus Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of school-age children from their elementary school (School District 54 schools) to one of two park district recreation center locations for after school care and programming.
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a current Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsement and have a valid DOT medical card. The best applicants will be dependable, flexible and appreciate the diversity of school age children and adults. Strong communication skills are important to effectively interact with children, adults and people with disabilities. Must have sufficient dexterity to operate wheelchair lift.
SCHEDULING & PAY: These are Monday through Friday positions averaging 15-20 hours a week during the school year and 25-30 hours during the summer. School Year Schedule: Children must be picked up by 3:00 pm (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays) and by 2:30 pm on Wednesdays. Drivers are to be available for various field trips, half day programs, and Winter and Spring Break programs throughout each school year. Drivers are guaranteed three hours of pay per shift. Promotes sportsmanship and the philosophy of the Sea Lion Swim Team as outlined by the Lisle Park District and the West Suburban Conference.

Attends all West Suburban Swim Conference meetings with the Assistant Swim Team Coaches, typically scheduled Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings.

Adheres strictly to the West Suburban Conference rules and bylaws.

Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patrons and performing first aid and other emergency services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Significant involvement in communicating with, but not limited to parents, children, and park district staff.
Significant involvement in protecting the life and well-being of all pool patrons using the swimming facilities.
Attend Mandatory in-service training every week.
Provide 1st Aid when needed and properly fill out an incident report.
Respond to fecal and/or vomit incidents as trained.
Enforcement of all pool rules and policies of the Oswegoland Park District fairly and consistently.
Provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a neat and orderly work environment with emphasis on safety precautions.
Wear sun protection at all times when working outdoors (sunscreen, hat, shirt).
Significant amount of cleaning and maintaining facility.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be 16 years or older.
Possess effective communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to swim 200 yards consistently.
Retrieve a ten-pound brick from 12 ft. of water.
Tread water for two minutes.
Current Lifeguard License, (will acquire through park district training).
Flexibility in working hours.

Position Summary
Serves as a bartender for Chevy Chase Country Club. Responsibilities include providing set-ups, breakdowns and preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Essential Job Duties
Collects and interprets all paperwork generated for the event being worked.
Inspects bar area prior to opening and ensures that adequate supplies are available for the impending shift.
Prepares garnishes, mixes, pre-mixed drinks and completes set-up requirements.
Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to recipes approved by management.
Collects money. Maintains records of all bar-stock items using provided inventory sheets in each bar and stock rooms.
Uses POS system to record cash/inventory transactions. At shift end, reconciles cash to orders taken.
Maintains and cleans all equipment. Cleans and secures station in accordance with established closing procedures which includes locking all coolers, cabinets, etc.
Consistently complies with the state, local and agency laws/policies regarding the sale and disposition of alcoholic beverages.
Answers any questions from guests about the event and be able to provide descriptions of the day including the time line of the event and what food and beverage is available and being served.
Personal appearance conveys to the public a general impression of the facility. It is the responsibility of every employee to be properly attired and neatly groomed. Name tags and uniforms must be worn at all times.
Be able to work any bar in facility as directed by management. Including, but not limited to the Grand Ballroom, Devonshire Room, Gable Room and mobile bars.
Assist with food plate up in the kitchen when needed.
Provide drink service to guest tables.
