Join us as a Field Operations Intern in Summer 2026! Internships at Otis are rewarding and challenging, providing you with the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop through meaningful projects that drive our business.
Our comprehensive internship program will allow you to gain hands-on experience and broaden your field supervision, operations, communication, and business acumen skills. This role will be heavily based on construction sites. You'll be immersed in the Otis culture where we collaborate to best serve our customers; and where we empower and inspire each other through support, autonomy and trust. Our Interns are assigned progressively challenging projects that support growth in our various lines of business-servicing existing elevators and escalators, installing new elevators and escalators, and modernizing elevators that have reached their natural life cycle.
The projects assigned are related to core branch office functions that are customer focused, result-oriented, and performance driven which will require teamwork, research and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time, paid summer internship, starting June 2026 and ranging from 10-12 weeks. Throughout your internship, we provide continuous training and performance feedback to ensure you develop the necessary skills to succeed.
Additional career opportunities are available upon conclusion of a successful internship, including opportunity for placement as a Field Operations Trainee.
Education / Certifications:
- Current student pursuing an undergraduate degree (preferably in construction management, and related fields)
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior field operations or construction internship experience is a plus

Salary Range:
The hourly range for this role is $20-27/hr. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. What you will accomplish:
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the family law ecosystem-including Judges, Attorneys, Mediators, Parent Coordinators, Court Evaluators, and Guardians ad Litem-to strengthen awareness, trust, and advocacy for the OurFamilyWizard platform.
Develop and deliver educational initiatives for the judicial community and other professionals through workshops, webinars, presentations, curated discussions, and conference participation that highlight best practices for using OFW to improve outcomes for families.
Serve as an educational ambassador to Judges and court systems by presenting OFW's benefits, aligning content with judicial needs, and ensuring ongoing engagement and professional development opportunities.
Actively engage the broader Family Law community through relationship-driven outreach at industry events, regional meetings, and continuing education programs, positioning OurFamilyWizard as a partner in effective coparenting solutions.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a leadership position.
Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), manufacturing principles, practices, and standards.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
