As a driver helper you'll ride along with a package delivery driver in our iconic brown trucks and help deliver packages to businesses and homes in your community. During your shift, you'll be in and out of the truck, greeting customers and ensuring packages make it to their destinations.
This seasonal job requires flexibility as work will be assigned in the morning based on operational needs and your availability.
When you are assigned work, you will be provided with a meet point. This is where the driver will pick you up, often in your neighborhood. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

Here's how you'll make an impact:
Prepare raw materials, tooling, and machine set-up by reviewing blueprints and engineering plans and machining parameters; interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Program lathes by entering instructions, setting tools and offsets,; calculate requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; verify part programs.
Set up lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, rotary attachments, fixtures, collets, stops, etc.
Verify settings by measuring positions, complete first-run part, and sample workpieces
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations; measure, detect malfunctions, troubleshoot, adjust, reprogram controls, sharpen/replace worn tools; follow quality assurance procedures and debur parts.

This position works with those in crisis to provide case consultation, crisis intervention including but not limited to risk assessment screening and inpatient assessment, service coordination, and referrals/linkage to resources for individuals, who were identified as requiring mental health/substance use-related supports. This position reports to the Supervisor/Operations Manager as assigned. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide essential access system functions for all populations including screening, eligibility determination, collection of relevant information for reporting and decision-making purposes, referrals, provision of relevant consumer information and provision of outreach services when necessary.
