    We are looking for an experienced General Sales Manager to lead our Sales Department to new levels. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader; have a STRONG passion for sales success both at the individual and team level; understand new and used vehicle management, including appraisals, reconditioning, and turn. We are looking for someone who is independently motivated; ready to be part of a positive team and environment; understands the dynamics of making a car deal and can teach others; is excited about providing valuable trainings for the Sales Team; and can be a reliable sales leader. You'll work closely with the General Manager as well as the sales consultants and finance team to ensure sales and gross goals are met. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead all Sales Departments -- New Ford, New Lincoln, Used Cars, Finance, and Internet Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process Be involved in every deal while expanding fleetail business for volume growth Manage the new vehicle inventory together with the General Manager, including ordering and dealer trades Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals Assist with T.O.s in finance and improve product penetration Monitor all CRM traffic, including leads, texts, emails, and tasks Assist in reconditioning for speedy time to line and ensure all used cars are digital frontline ready Desk Deals, Track Gross Logs and RDR cars REQUIREMENTS: Prior automotive sales managerial experience required Previous Ford of Lincoln Experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and customer service skills Understanding of inventory control Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM) Professional attitude and appearance Strong work ethic and a relentless determination to make every deal A positive attitude and ability to think outside the box to solve problems Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) WE OFFER: Medical, Dental Life and Disability 401K Paid Vacation About the Dealership Ourisman Automotive Group believes our success and future growth is contributed to our employees. Your responsibilities will include: Process Development: Establish and refine sales processes that drive success. Team Training: Equip our sales team with the tools and knowledge to handle leads and in-person communications to the highest level of excellence. Accountability: Monitor and ensure adherence to established processes, policies and compliance. Performance Analysis: Collaborate with your Sales Management team to set and track daily, weekly and monthly goals both personally and for your team. Review key performance indicators such as sales volume, response times and lead handling. Feedback & Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering continuous growth.
