You'll work closely with the Sales team to help lead the success of our clients' Outbrain campaigns and provide thought leadership on content amplification strategies and optimization. You'll build strong relationships and establish clear lines of communication with large agency clients, brands and internal staff members. The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented, energetic self-starter, proactive and committed to driving performance and creating new business opportunities by using analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless campaign execution. A day in the life: * In your first month, you should find your bearings, begin to grasp the Outbrain products and start to build key internal and external relationships. You should feel comfortable navigating our internal systems and will start communicating with clients. You'll be responsible for the planning, implementation, reporting and optimization of campaigns. * After three months, you'll be the day to day contact for your clients, helping them achieve their KPIs and developing data-driven optimization strategies. You will be recognized for campaign successes and own failures. * When you finish up your first year, you'll be an essential member of the New York customer success team, substantially contributing to the team's success by managing the daily workflow for your client accounts What you'll bring: * 5+ years of digital media, agency, and/or adtech experience * Experience with performance KPIs and accounts focused on lower funnel success * Knowledge of 3rd party vendors and tools (DCM, impression pixels, click tags) and experience buying media on Outbrain or other native platforms * 4+ years of client-facing account management with a mastery of digital marketing and the digital landscape. * A go-getter attitude. You will rotate to be the point of contact for several different independent agencies, offering an opportunity to learn about the team and business. You will then move to your own book of business. Work collaboratively with The Trade Desk Client Service teams to cultivate and grow accounts Communicate the value of The Trade Desk media buying platform through capabilities presentations and demonstrations of the product Take lead in responding to RFPs and new agency opportunities, including qualification & win strategy Prospect and negotiate net new MSAs and spend endeavors across independent agencies or brands Work closely with product, marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering Coordinate global account discussions with go-to-market counterparts across the world when applicable Use knowledge of the market and competitors, to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators Accurately manage and communicate monthly forecasts and pipeline Contribute to The Trade Desk culture by bringing your full self Who you are: 4-8+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmatic Experience at an online publisher, DSP, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DMP, or other online advertising company Programmatic platform sales experience a definite positive Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients Existing relationships with decision-makers at independent advertising agencies a plus Strong quantitative and negotiation skills Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations A passion and curiosity to continue to learn A consistent strive for excellence High EQ, with a good sense of humor
