The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in Cardiothoracic Imaging for full-time or part-time in person positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT). Candidates ideally will integrate in the division focusing on cardiothoracic imaging, including chest X-rays, chest CT and MR, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer screening, cardiac CT and MR, and vascular imaging.
The Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging has various weekly/monthly clinical conferences and has a close working relationship with cardiology, pulmonary medicine, vascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery services. The Division is strongly oriented toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available to support the daily practice and operation.
Candidates will participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching, trainee supervision, scholarship, and service. The department has a strong commitment to faculty development and academic advancement.
Emory Healthcare is continuously upgrading with state-of-the-art equipment, including Siemens dual source Force, General Electric Revolution Apex, Canon Aquilion One and multiple of the Siemens, GE, Philips top CT scanners; on the MR side, Emory equipment include state-of-the-art systems such as Siemens 1.5-T Magnetom Altea, Magnetom Sola and Avanto, and 3-T Trio MRI scanners. Emory Healthcare systems include also a GE Signa PET/MR and Siemens 7T Terra system, both for clinical and research purposes.
Our Department is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for the 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success.
**Minimum Qualification** :
+ Applicants must be ABR Board-certificate/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.

The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging of Emory University has openings for a 1-year PET combined clinical-research fellowship starting July 1, 2026. The Department of Radiology maintains an excellent academic environment with a strong commitment to research and teaching in a wide range of disciplines. The fellowship will combine clinical PET training with the potential for protected research time and an opportunity to work with novel PET radiotracers among many other clinical and research possibilities. Clinical duties may include on-call responsibilities as well as additional duties covering a nuclear medicine service at one of the teaching institutions of Emory. Radionuclide therapy procedures using non-sealed sources are part of nuclear medicine clinical responsibilities. A new purpose designed theranostic center is opening at Emory University Hospital Midtown in the summer of 2023 integrated with a multi-disciplinary GI/GU clinic. For the qualified candidate, there may be an option to create a personalized program, which could include body imaging as well as general and cardiac nuclear medicine rotations. An option for a second year of fellowship experience may also be considered at the discretion of the Fellowship Director and Division Director. There are 9 full time physicians in Nuclear Medicine. There are also 12 dedicated research faculty including 11 PhDs and 1 MD among six translational and basic science laboratories.
The equipment at the Emory University affiliated nuclear medicine departments includes state-of-the-art imaging and computer systems. Each institution has several imaging systems including SPECT and SPECT/CT and specialized computer facilities. Emory has a PET Center, including two PET/CT scanners and a PET/MR as well as PET/CTs at Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory St. Josephs Emory Johns Creek, Grady Memorial Hospital, and the VA Medical Center. Additional research instruments include dedicated research PET/CT, a micro PET/CT preclinical scanner, a multispectral in-vivo fluorescence imaging system, and a cyclotron located in a new research building. Research opportunities are available for fellows in both clinical and basic research; research is required and is tailored to the individual's long-term goals. Research facilities include state-of-the-art cyclotron and radiochemistry services, animal imaging research laboratories utilizing PET-CT and a wide variety of other resources. The Division is integrally involved in research conducted by Emory University School of Medicine faculty, including close collaboration with colleagues in Radiology, Cardiology and the Winship Cancer Institute. Currently, there are active clinical research programs involving new PET and single-photon radiotracers, therapeutics, Y-90 microsphere therapy, and many other projects involving translational medicine. Protected research time may be available depending on clinical needs and research progress, and meeting time to attend professional conferences may be available.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have completed a nuclear medicine or radiology residency and be either board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or The American Board of Radiology. The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in chest or abdominal imaging for full-time or part-time remote positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT).
Candidates ideally will integrate in the division focusing predominantly on chest imaging, including chest X-rays, oncologic chest CT studies, lung cancer screening studies. Interstitial lung disease cases are also available to candidates who have interest. Candidates may choose to focus predominantly on thoracic imaging or have a mixed practice with abdominal or multispecialty imaging.
Our department is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System.The Division is strongly oriented toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available to support the daily practice and operation.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success. We have several template schedules within the department including a 26 weeks on 26 weeks off schedule consisting of 8am-5pm weekday shifts and 7am-4pm shifts on the weekends/holidays. This equates to 182 shifts of clinical duty per year. We have additional schedules which can involve evening work and multispecialty imaging if this is an interest for the candidate.
Candidates may decide to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.

+ **13 weeks of clinical duty per year, consisting of 7-day blocks of overnight shifts (10pm-7am) followed by 21 days off.**
+ Work remotely from home anywhere in the USA except Alaska, Hawaii, and New Jersey. Microsoft Teams used for communication with assistance from 24-hour reading room coordinator.
+ Shifts involve whole-body acute care imaging (ED & Inpatient). Mainly CT, US, and XR with a small component of MRI.
+ Successful candidates will be staffed in tandem with existing emergency/acute care radiologists and an emergency neuroradiologist (becoming the 5 th overnight radiologist per night in the healthcare system).
+ Provide remote support to residents who currently work overnight.

+ This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3am) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academic). This equates to 121 clinical shifts per year. **17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year! Remote from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska.**
+ This evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast's busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees.
+ The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging. Although the scope can be 100% abdominal and chest imaging, if candidates prefer, they will be able to read other emergency imaging exams. A separate evening neuroradiologist would be responsible for neuroradiology work.
Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, highly function in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting and work well in a collaborative environment.
Candidates should be prepared to participate in both the clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision. There are opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary if desired.

Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Musculoskeletal Division is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position.
Emory's Musculoskeletal Division consists of 10 full and part-time faculty members who provide specialized MSK diagnostic and interventional services to several hospital and clinic sites including the Emory MSK Institute, Emory University Midtown Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital. Faculty are actively involved in strong intra- and interdepartmental research collaborations and are committed to educating our MSK fellows and residents (one of the largest programs in the country).
Diagnostic responsibilities include subspecialty interpretations of MSK MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiographs. Spine imaging interpretation is shared between the neuroradiology and musculoskeletal radiology. We interpret imaging for many of the Atlanta-area professional and collegiate sports teams and commonly collaborate with our orthopedic surgeons including orthopedic oncology, non-operative sports medicine physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and rheumatologists. We participate in interdisciplinary conferences including sarcoma tumor board, peripheral nerve, rheumatology, and arthroscopic-imaging correlation conferences.
Experience in standard interventional MSK procedures is preferred, which include fluoroscopic/ultrasound guided joint injection/aspiration, CT and ultrasound guided biopsies, spine and peripheral nerve injections.

**Description**
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking full-time or part-time radiologists to join the expanding Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging (ETI), currently one of the largest such divisions in the United States. The Division provides emergent imaging interpretations at 6 Emory hospitals and Grady Memorial Hospital, which is the state's largest Level 1 trauma center. The division operates 24/7/365, and faculty staff a mix of remote and onsite shifts, including those with resident teaching responsibilities and fellow teaching and support.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and divisional success. Faculty work with divisional leadership to choose from several schedule templates. Day, afternoon, evening, swing and overnight shifts are available, with overnight work being optional. Schedules can be fixed (such as 1 week on and 1 week off; 1 week on and 2 weeks off; 1 week on and 3 weeks off) or flexible (rotating shifts with a per-year shift requirement). The more overnight shifts done per year, the lower the annual shift requirement. More specific schedule details and options can be provided in discussions with leadership after application.
Candidates should have a demonstrated career interest in Emergency Imaging, possess strong clinical skills, function well in a fast-paced time-sensitive emergency setting, and work collaboratively with trainees and other faculty. Candidates can choose to be more clinically focused without academic time, or to be academically focused with 20% academic time. Academic faculty should be prepared to fully participate in the non-clinical divisional activities, including scholarship, teaching, trainee supervision, and service. The department also supports leadership and faculty development opportunities with the possibility for leadership positions and advancement within the division and department.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
+ Candidates with subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience are desired.
+ Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

**Qualifications**
Qualified applicants will have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pediatric radiology. Additionally, candidates must have completed, or be eligible to take, the ABR Subspecialty Exam (CAQ) in pediatric radiology.
**Job Description**
New faculty members will join the Body division in a group of over 40 pediatric radiologists. Academic or clinical tracks are available allowing individuals to focus on areas of interest. Full-time or part-time option available.
Nighttime coverage and call responsibilities are currently provided by designated internal night pediatric radiologists. This position requires some clinical effort dedicated to overnight work.
