Our Mental Health Technicians provides counseling to individual clients, implements and monitors treatment of clients, and monitors individual and group social skills.
The Mental Health Technician will provide direct services to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene and ADL's, as well as assistance with all tasks necessary for maintaining a therapeutic community and residence.
Conducting activities with residents, including educational, social and leisure programs. Inclusion of resident's input and suggestions in the planning process involved for all activities.
The Mental Health Technician is responsible for documentation in clinical charts and residential logs as required, including progress notes on assigned residents. Immediate reporting of all resident crisis and/or unusual incidents to Shift Supervisor.

School Therapeutic Services
Position Summary: The BHT provides specialized behavioral services directed by a detailed treatment plan and under the direction of a BC, who is responsible for the treatment plan.
Summary of Essential Position Functions:
Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to client
Assist parent/caregiver and/or teacher with implementation of behavior plan
Monitor client's behaviors emphasized in the treatment plan; intervene and redirect challenging behaviors
Collaborate with team members and must work in context of transferring skills to others
Attend monthly treatment team meetings with client, family and treatment team
Provide services within authorized amount of hours & Complete all paperwork within policy time frames
Attend staff meetings & mandatory trainings as necessary and comply with all IBHS policies
Attend trainings (must have twenty (20) hours per year if an experienced BHT ; non experienced need thirty-nine (39) hours of training within the first six (6) months of hire)
BHT with less than six months of previous BHT experience must receive six hours of on-site assessment & assistance by a qualified supervisor. BHT with more than six months of previous BHT experience must receive three hours of assessment/assistance by a qualified supervisor.
Ability to develop therapeutic rapport with treatment team, clients and families
Attend weekly supervision with master's level mental health professional
Travel to and from client sites to perform services (100% travel required)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties
Develop individualized client treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
Individualized therapy in the home and community environments.
Support Implementation of individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising Behavior Consultant/BCBA.
Provides support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
Provides role model appropriate behaviors.
Provides clinical support to direct care staff.
Implements consequences relating to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
Coordinates clinical information/direction with other professionals and agencies.
Exchanges information clearly and concisely with the appropriate parties and concerns.
Develop meaningful treatment and construction of therapeutic systems.
Construct key growth experiences for the client and family.
Provide positive role engagement interventions for client and family.
Improve secure caregiver-child attachments.
Provide executive skills & functioning for the client and family.
Increase emotion regulation and distress tolerance/coping for the client.
Complete and submit all paperwork including documentation of session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans and assessments in a timely manner.
Supervision of BACB candidates is provided free of charge to qualified staff.
Qualifications and Skills
Master's (Required): (preferred) mental health professional or an individual with a graduate level degree in the field of mental health services.
Valid driver's license is required as well as willingness to travel as needed.
One (1) year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).

We are looking for experienced therapists to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services Team on our mission to address the mental and behavioral health needs of the youth in the Wyomissing area. Our ideal candidates will enjoy working with a variety of mental health needs across various settings that include home, school, and community. Our goal will be to assess the needs of the youth, develop an individualized treatment plan in collaboration with the child, their family, and other treatment team members, and provide them with the skills and support that allow them to successfully reach those goals. These positions do allow for flexibility with scheduling, the hours and locations of assignments are based on the client and family's needs. There are no overnight hours but the ability to have some flexibility with scheduling is preferred. What Do I Need?Education and ExperienceMaster's Degree required in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.ANDMust meet ONE of the following:
Licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor (LPC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed in PA as a Social Worker (LSW) or Behavior Specialist (BSL) and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
At least 1 year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children up to and including age 21, and a graduate degree with at least nine (9) credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling; Or

What Will I Do?
You will participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team and in the development of an individual psychosocial evaluation and remedy plan for each client on his/her caseload.
You will use a written order and assessment to determine the therapy approach and ultimately develop a remedy for attending to children, youth and young adults with behavioral health needs sometimes compounded by developmental disorders who present with challenging behaviors.
You will provide mobile and face-to-face therapy for individuals, couples, families and groups in a competent, professional and confidential manner
You will meet with the Clinical Supervisor for supervision as assigned and participate in scheduled staff and in-service meetings.
You will work in conjunction with CONCERN Case Managers to implement treatment plans and individual program descriptions.
Hours of WorkThis position requires some flexibility with scheduling around client needs.Ability to work days, evenings, and/or weekends is preferred but not necessarily required. What Will I Get?Billable Rates (Time spent providing direct care to your client) Licensed Mobile Therapist- $40/hr.Non-Licensed Mobile Therapist -$32/hr. Administrative Rates (functions performed outside of direct client care) Supervision and Training - $14/hr.All other non-billable (e.g. phone calls, documentation, etc.) - $7.50/hr.
