Brightstone Therapy, a leading provider of behavioral therapy services in Decatur, GA, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients as prescribed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed to address the individual needs of clients.
- Document and track client progress through data collection and daily notes.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to ensure effective therapy and data-driven decision-making.
- Assist with crisis management and behavior support as needed.
- Provide therapy in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid RBT certification.
- Current CPR is not required, but will need to be taken upon hire.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Experience working with individuals in various settings.
- Passion for helping individuals with autism and related developmental disorders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participates in the ongoing evaluation of patient's functional status (muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self-care ability, work capacity, etc.) as delegated by the registered occupational therapist. Participates in the ongoing evaluation of the home environment for hazards or barriers to more independent living as delegated by the patient's plan of care.
2. Participates in teaching new skills or retraining patients in once familiar daily activities that have been lost due to illness or injury, in accordance with organization policy.
3. Maintains appropriate clinical records, clinical notes, and reports to the branch's Director of Nursing any changes in the patient's condition.
4. Submits clinical documentation in accordance with company policy.
5. Follows treatment program and goals for improved patient function as established by the Plan of Care. Documents patient's response to treatment plan and progress toward established goals.
6. Maintains contact/communication with other personnel involved in the patient's care to promote coordinated, efficient care. Documents such communication in accordance with company policy.
7. Attends and contributes to inservices, case conferences, and other meetings as required by company policy to ensure coordinated and comprehensive plans of care for the patients of the company.
8. Identifies patient and family/caregiver needs for other home care services. Consults with other clinical disciplines and assists with necessary referrals, as appropriate.
