POSITION SUMMARY
The Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Services (BJRS) Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for organizing and conducting Physical Therapy interventions to reduce pain, restore function, promote mobility, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or accident. The BJRS PT works to provide high quality healthcare that establishes diagnoses, prognosis, and develops a plan of care (POC) with short/long term patient centered goals that fall within the scope of PT practice. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education / Training:
Current / active licensure in the State of Tennessee.
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's / Doctorate preferred.

The BHT answers clients' questions and assist in adjusting program routine, report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition. The Recovery Behavioral Health Technician acts as a representative of Epiphany Wellness. BHT's observe all client activity and maintain visible presence of the clients at all times. BHT's maintain excellent reporting skills on client whereabouts, any and all issues that arise and basic needs while on shift. BHT's are responsible for making sure clients are attending their clinical hours and getting the help they need to obtain long-term sobriety.

What will your day look like? You will:
Client safety is Epiphany's top priority. BHT's performs this by maintaining a safe therapeutic environment for clients at all times.
Maintain daily/weekly structure and schedule for clients as outlined in client schedule.
Observation of client medication that is considered a controlled substance
Ensure clients are filling out self-observation sheets for medication.
Completing rounds at the beginning, throughout, and at the end of shift. When clients are placed on Q30 rounds, completing them accordingly with appropriate documentation
Overnight is responsible for hourly rounds unless otherwise specified for high-risk clients; all rounds documented in BHT chat
Transporting clients to and from appointments, clinical services, employment if applicable, and other outside activities. Ensuring Epiphany's driving policy is being followed, and if an accident occurs, accident policy is followed
Performing Urinalysis as assigned, reading urinalysis results on a 12-panel and reporting and recording appropriate documentation as well as communicating to appropriate supervisor.
Performing breathalyzers on clients as assigned. Reporting any results over 0.00 to on call supervisor
Reporting and completing shift notes for each shift
Following chain of command at all times. Being aware of when and how to report any issues on shift, including but not limited to facilities, clients, and other staff
Building positive relationships with clients and staff
Utilizing BHT chat when on shift for communication with other staff and supervisor
Flexibility - BHT scheduling (coverage can be needed at any time). Client schedule changes, last-minute intakes, behavioral issues etc.
Searching client belongings upon intake, vehicles, and rooms as assigned by BHT Supervisor
Reporting Suicidal Ideation and Homicidal Ideations of any patients
Completing client intakes, following all steps as outlined intake protocol
Crisis intervention included, but not limited to, client altercation (verbal or physical), relapse, behavioral issues
AMA blocking as needed
Facilitating client rules and responsibilities, and reporting non-compliance to supervisor
What you will need for this position:
Minimum of one (1) year in the Recovery/Substance Abuse field (preferred).
Working knowledge of 12-Step Program, AA or NA preferred.

Mental Health Tech Responsibilities
Supervise a group of 7-10 youth during daily activities, always maintaining awareness of their whereabouts
Provide a safe, secure, and structured environment using positive discipline, de-escalation techniques, and behavior modification systems (I-Choose)
Participate in group counseling activities and support youth through individual relationships
Conduct or support problem-solving group meetings (“huddle-ups”) and daily reviews with assigned youth groups
Assist with classroom and educational activities, promoting the transfer of learning to living units
Facilitate, supervise, and encourage participation in planned activities and daily routines
Document shift events, population counts, and youth progress; refer youth for medical or specialized evaluation when necessary
Support treatment team communication by reporting on youth behavior, progress, and accomplishments
Additional Duties
Attend required training and professional development sessions
Report any incidents or concerns related to youth or staff conduct
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Two years of college coursework in social or human services preferred
Two years' experience working with youth preferred (if no college coursework)
Preferred Skills
Strong verbal communication and leadership skills
Group counseling and supervision techniques
Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to act independently
Ability to write accurate, objective shift documentation
Other Requirements
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 30 pounds, walk and stand for extended periods, and physically respond to altercations, self-harm attempts, or escapes using approved techniques. Must be capable of active participation in indoor and outdoor activities in all weather.
Health Requirements: Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by state law.
Other: Must maintain a valid state driver's license and meet all background check requirements. First Aid, CPR, and crisis intervention certifications must be obtained within the probationary period.

Behavioral Health Technician
Outpatient physical therapist job in Centerville, TN
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides oversight and support services to clients and staff in a residential treatment facility for adults with co-occurring diagnoses. BHT are responsible for around-the-clock supervision of the client milieu and helping to create and maintain a therapeutic milieu for treatment initiatives. The BHT position is an entry-level position.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Provides services necessary to maintain a functioning milieu, which includes but is not limited to:
* Transportation/pick up of clients
* Safety cleans and adherence to OSHA safety protocols
* Stocking and keeping inventory of client items (i.e., literature, hygiene items, etc.)
* Providing access to hygiene items/necessities to clients (i.e., phones, computer time, etc.)
* Administrative functions necessary to client success (i.e., faxing, ordering, maintenance of client medical records or physical charts, etc.)
* Organizes client belongings and administers access
* Maintain active awareness of clients' locations and attendance of programming.
* Observe, monitor, intervene upon, and document client behaviors and presentations.
* Completes medication observations, collection and documentation of vitals, and assist medical/nursing team.
* Maintain high quality documentation using appropriate forms in appropriate clinical language.
* Facilitates non-clinical group sessions effectively within skill set and scope of practice.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of one year experience in the addition or mental health fields, preferred.
* High school diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
* Valid Driver's License, required.
* Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; responds well to questions.
* Knowledge of organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to exercise sound judgement, be attentive to detail, and maintain positive work attitude.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
* Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
* Ability to understand and utilize program knowledge, such as the disease model, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed approaches, experiential approaches, CBT, self-help approaches, and evidence based practices in client care.
* Ability understanding of how to utilize medical knowledge, complete medication observations, observe and assess detox clients, and complete and document vitals.
* Ability to document thoroughly in an electronic medical record.
* Ability to professionally interact and communicate with clients, client family members, referral sources, and vendors.
* Knowledge of MS Office and office equipment such as copiers and scanners.
* Must meet pre-employment and maintain all applicable state and job related guidelines for background screening, fingerprinting, drug test, health screening, DMV, insurance, CPR/Basic First Air, and license/credential verifications.
