Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Mental Health Technician position serving adults with mental illnesses in North Little Rock, AR. This position requires maintenance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for Healthcare Workers.

Work Hours: PRN (called-in to work or scheduled to work as needed up to 19 hours per week)
This position requires driving your own vehicle and maintaining insurance in your name.
What our Mental Health Technicians will do:
Provide services to clients under the general supervision of registered nurses, physicians, psychiatrists or other qualified personnel.
Perform tasks that are within the scope of his/her educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted by the policies and procedures of local, state, and federal guidelines; and the policies of the facility requesting the services.
Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team and assist with the coordination of services including planning, monitoring, documenting and conducting evaluations of services to clients.
Make observations regarding clients' physical conditions, behaviors and responses to treatment and reporting any significant changes to appropriate supervisor and other staff members.
Maintain appropriate documentation.
Utilize behavioral techniques to prevent injury to patients and others and to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for clients; respond appropriately in crisis situations.

Reports to: Behavioral Health Program Director or Nurse Manager /Charge Nurse
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior, participating as a member of the treatment team, contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions from the plan. The Behavioral Health Technician conducts individual and group psychoeducation, leisure activities and life- skill training and coaching for all patients. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for safety monitoring of patients and of the unit.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certification: CNA preferred. BLS, preferred
Required Experience: 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Essential Functions:
Assumes personal responsibility for maintaining professional development such as BLS and CPI.
Observes and monitors patient's status according to patient monitoring standards, policies and procedures. This may include completion of vital signs, weight log, intake and output, dietary intake, Q15 minute behavioral rounds sheets, admission checklists or other progress or milieu notes. Reports patient complaints or other concerns in a timely manner.
Provides verbal and written input to nursing staff via ongoing reporting and end of shift report so patient's needs and care can be prioritized.
Demonstrates proficiency and skill in providing care to patients; orienting to unit, transport; de-escalation; teaching of coping skills, conflict resolution, problem solving skills; assistance with activities of daily living; admission & discharge procedures, response to codes; use of CPI techniques and Life Coaching skills.
Demonstrates effective on-going observations and evaluation of patient/family response to the interventions; reports changes in condition to the nurse assigned.
Demonstrates the ability to co-lead patient psycho-educational groups on the unit as well as provide care in a manner that is consistent with the Master Treatment Plan. Takes initiative to ensure that active treatment is occurring on the unit as scheduled and encourages all patients to participate in unit groups and programming.
Provide timely and accurate information on patient's behaviors and progress to the interdisciplinary team.
Serves in a Supervisory or Lead role, as requested.
Conduct individual Life Coaching, Psychoeducation and Supportive Counseling to assigned
patients and in accordance with Master Treatment Plan goals.
Dedicated to Hope, Healing and Recovery

Position Overview
We are seeking passionate, licensed mental health therapists to join our diverse team under the guidance of the Director of Therapy. As part of Alleviant's commitment to integrative health, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will conduct thorough mental health evaluations and provide individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy to both adult and child patients. As an Alleviant therapist, you will be encouraged to explore innovative treatment options, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine treatment, and embrace a holistic approach to mental health care.
Essential Job Functions
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans and discharge strategies.
Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of referral resources across our Arkansas service areas to support patient needs.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical records in accordance with facility policies.
Foster positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, healthcare team members, referral sources, and community agencies.
Demonstrate commitment to diversity, working effectively with a broad spectrum of individuals.
Uphold standards of excellence in all assignments and foster a supportive and professional environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Master's degree in social work or counseling.
Experience: Minimum of five years as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in a healthcare setting.
Licensure: Current LCSW or LPC licensure in Arkansas; multi-state licensure is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and basic office equipment. Strong typing and computer application skills are essential.
Compliance: In-depth understanding of HIPAA guidelines and documentation standards within the healthcare industry.
