$10,000 RECRUITMENT BONUS! The PhysicalTherapist I (Entry/competent), Outpatient is responsible for the assessment and treatment of functional impairments including orthopedic injuries, neurologic conditions, oncology/lymphedema, and women's/men's health.

The goal is to maintain or restore the patients to their maximum functional performance.
- Individually responsible for differential diagnosis and supervision of patient's care under direct access law without physician oversight.
- Evaluates and develops plan of care according to American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines.
- Administers evidence- based physical therapy treatments appropriate to diagnosis and to APTA guidelines.
- Documents and charges for patient care services in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
- Completes progress notes/recertification to demonstrate the need for continues skilled services as outlined by federal, state, and insurance regulations.
- Completes discharge planning according to APTA guidelines by consulting with physicians, OT, SLP and with the patient/family.
- Completes peer to peer insurance review and other required forms for obtaining authorization for services.
- Meets productivity/KPI targets.
Competent:
- Coordinates external resources and support for patients and families.
- Completion of yearly mandatory education for employment and VA licensure.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participates in at least one community service activity that is Centra sponsored or related to the PT profession.
- Serves as a Clinical Instructor for a physical therapy student clinical 1-2, or an intern (greater than 30 hours) applying to PT school.
- Provides one in-service annually to staff.
- Completes two of the following:
- Participates as a member of the APTA with at least 50% attendance.
- Participates in efforts to impact/affect legislation in professional area.
- Performs clinical activity or special project as pre-approved by manager.
- Supervises Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, rehab assistants, and other support staff.
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited PT program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Program) Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy Preferred Experience: At least 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting but will consider new graduates. xevrcyc

How you'll contribute
The therapist is responsible for providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies including group, individual and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Ensures accurate and timely patient documentation.

The Substance Use Disorder Therapist-Licensed will perform assessments, facilitate group sessions, as well as complete individual, family and weekly programs for clients who suffer from addiction. The Substance Use Disorder Therapist will use industry recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions and be a active member of our Treatment Team. Perform intake screening and assessments unless otherwise assigned to a central intake staff.
Perform and/or monitor all duties associated with program administrative functions including but not limited to psychosocial assessments and admission documentation, contacts with all referral sources and family, urine drug screens, and ensure that treatment has been authorized with the payer source both initial and concurrent.
Provide psychoeducational programming to include didactic, audio visual, and other formats of teaching that are appropriate for this level of care.
Perform the clinical group process portion of the program using industry recognized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
Perform individual and family sessions as needed.
Perform the weekly family education and weekly programs.
Maintain the expected census in each group sessions.
Present appropriate cases at the weekly treatment team and participate in clinical supervision as scheduled and/or necessary.
Develop a system for tracking current census, scheduling and performance of assessments of potential admissions.
Maintain current CPR certification, yearly TB testing, and annual TB Screening Certification as required by the state.
Assist with business development and marketing functions.
For Licensed staff:
As a licensed clinician working for Health Connect America your NPI number will be used to bill for services performed by those being supervised by you.
As a licensed clinician you will be responsible for ensuring that your credentials remain current, you comply with all training requirements, and you are adequately supervising your staff.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in human services or related field.
Candidates must possess either a valid Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.

We're seeking a Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or Licensed Mental Health Professional to become a certified Functional Family Therapist (FFT). You'll provide home-based mental health counseling to children/adolescents (ages 10-18) and their families, using the FFT evidence-based model. We'll pay for your FFT certification (over $1700 value!) and offer free clinical supervision for licensure to qualified Residents!
Your Role:
Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for a duration of 8-26 weeks depending on the needs of each family.
Provide at least 1 hour/week of home-based family therapy to each client on your caseload.
Flexible hours are required to meet family needs.
Complete all documentation accurately.
Travel within a one-hour drive is necessary.
We're Looking For:
Registered (or eligible) as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia.
QMHP-C with 5+ years experience with children and families also considered.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
Willingness to transport clients as needed.
