Responsibilities
Our Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living. We have Specialty Programs that include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement Program, and our Total Shoulder Replacement Program. He/she administers skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teaches the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.

Graduation from a Bachelor's level program or higher
Minimum of 2 years employment in a clinician/counselor/social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent preferred.

The Clinician will provide clinical services to clients in Latinas y Niños residential center. Clinician will serve individuals with co-occurring disorders. Engage family and other collaterals for the purpose of aftercare planning.
Administrative:
Ensures adherence to program treatment philosophies and policies.
Maintains client and program records in accordance with agency requirements and timelines
Assist with utilization management to include assessing appropriateness, effectiveness, and medical need for services.
Work with the Practice Management Team to ensure authorizations are up to date & units have not expired.
Assist in all reporting as required by supervisors.

Responsibilities
Our Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living. We have Specialty Programs that include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement Program, and our Total Shoulder Replacement Program. He/she administers skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teaches the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.
This part-time salaried position works 24 hours/week, over 4 days in the week, and is eligible for our 60% paid days off program.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Must possess automobile liability insurance.
Must wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
Must have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.

Job Description
MPA's Community Based Services are intended to provide short term support and stabilization. As such, services provided by the Clinician and their teams should generally be focused on helping clients and their families identify and utilize long-term community supports and natural supports as well as agencies in the community. The Clinician is responsible for establishing clear treatment goals and clinically appropriate recommendations for treatment and interventions. The Clinician directs the activities of other team members to ensure client and family interactions are goal oriented and clinically appropriate. The Clinician will perform some or all of the following services: provide clinical support for individuals and their families to overcome obstacles, identify strengths and develop support networks that will help them overcome barriers; provide support, education and guidance to assist in developing structure, routines, effective parenting skills, positive communication, safety and behavioral plans, as well as hygiene plans. Other services provided are based on individual and family needs (i.e., nutrition and meal planning, household budgeting, etc.).
