_We are looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist to ensure that the client will function at their personal best. __*The right candidate must be able to cover two of our buildings in the Wooster and Brunswick areas, meaning that you must travel as this is not a virtual position.*_ _You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of rehabilitation. Sporadic weekend coverage may be needed._
*Responsibilities*
* Implements physical and psychological assessments of the patient and indicates treatment plan using a variety of methods.
* Assesses the patient's home and work environments and makes necessary adjustments if needed.
* Advises on what equipment would suit the patient for their everyday activities and helps them utilize them.
* Develops physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost fine motor skills.
* Establishes physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills and prepare them to return to normal life.
* Evaluates patient's condition regarding physical and basic mental health as well as establishes goals that Occupational therapy will treat and adjusts programs based on patient's needs and skills.
* Administers patient care in compliance with agency policy, law, and regulation, and according to the guidelines provided by the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, Occupational Therapy policies and procedures, and scope of care.
* Ensures continued competence and updated field knowledge.

Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist assists the physician in evaluating level of function and helps develop the plan of treatment after advising and consulting with the patient's family. As an Occupational Therapist you will:
