The PHYSICALTHERAPIST (P.T.) is a qualified professional who directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides physical therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician. The PhysicalTherapist provides therapy to rehabilitate and retrain major motor skills. Services are provided in a variety of healthcare settings.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an physical therapy school accredited by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association or its equivalent.
LICENSURE
Current, unrestricted license or registration to practice physical therapy.
EXPERIENCE
At least one year of physicaltherapist experience in a clinical setting.
CREDENTIALS
Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complies with ATC policies/procedures.
Complies with client facility policies/procedures.
Develops, implements and re-evaluates the patient's plan of care.
Documents accurately and completely services provided.
Evaluates and establishes goals based on patient's current level of functioning and potential for improvement.
Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
Treats patients to relieve pain and/or develop or restore function to maintain maximum performance.
Plans for the patient's discharge, prepares discharge summaries and instructions.
Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are
preserved.
Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
Complies with accepted ethical and professional standards of conduct.

As the PhysicalTherapist, you will be responsible for responsible for providing Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment utilizing evidenced-based interventions and reports to the Director of Therapy Service or Director of Rehabilitation Therapies. You will:
Evaluates patients and interprets findings to develop an individualized plan of care to meet the needs and goals of the patient per Physician orders.
Establishes and implements treatment interventions as guided by best practice and evidence-based theory to achieve treatment goals.
Implements treatment programs through direct treatment with patient.
Throughout therapy process methodically plans for appropriate discharge once patient goals are met.
Performs other duties as assigned
Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum
Current Washington State PhysicalTherapist License or eligible
Basic Life Support certification.
Oral and written fluency in the English language
Preferred Qualifications and Education.
Bilingual speaking English/Spanish
One year hospital or outpatient experience

Job Responsibilities
Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in an individual's home.
Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care that empower members to maintain independence
Complete straightforward documentation through our secure, user-friendly online potable accessible from any device
Qualifications and Requirements
Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (Sorry, No PTAs or COTAs).
Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at the time of job offer).
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes
Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) for all work tasks
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Home safety assessment background
Knowledge (Familiarity) of durable medical equipment
Experience with home modifications
Work history with diverse medical conditions

Qualifications:

The majority of the time our Occupational Therapist candidates are interviewed with 48 hours of submission and receive an offer on the same day. Benefits for the Occupational Therapist include medical, dental, vision, and 401K. In addition, we offer the Occupational Therapist licensure and relocation reimbursement if needed.

Astria Health is seeking a PhysicalTherapist to join our team! This position is located at our Astria Sunnyside Hospital in our Therapy Department.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
What you get to do every day!
The Physical Therapy Aide will be responsible for providing support to physicaltherapists by performing a variety of tasks related to patient care, office administration, and patient education. You will:
Provide direct patient care as instructed by a physicaltherapist, such as assisting with exercises, helping with transfers, and providing support during treatments
Document patient progress, treatments, and appointments in accordance with physical therapy protocols
Clean and maintain the physical therapy clinic and equipment, as well as ensure that the clinic is in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
Provide patient education regarding physical therapy treatments and exercises, including proper use of equipment
Performs other duties as assigned
Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Basic Life Support certification
Oral and written fluency in the English language.
Preferred Qualifications and Education.
Bilingual English/Spanish literate
