Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Engineer aerial, underground, and inside fiber optic routes
* Copper telephone cable design including size and gauge, cross box design and terminals; rearrangements including cutovers, pair-conditioning, cable assignments, loop make ups, bridge taps, splice documents
* Manage all projects to meet or exceed minimum specifications of Construction Policies, NESC, NEC, OSHA, State, County, and all other applicable agencies
* Maintain a high level of productivity, assuring timeframes are met for projects occurring simultaneously and track and generate reports on project status.
* Prepare, manage, and maintain project documentation, maps, and CAD drawings. Create drawings and records of fiber and copper routes, splice locations, construction notes, bills of materials and project overviews.
* Respond to DOT requests for information and plan for facility relocations.
* Review and record As-Built documentation
* Attend customer meetings; perform site surveys and walk-outs as necessary to comply with customer requirements and time frames.
* Work with multiple customers and prepare all deliverables within each customer's own specifications.
Qualifications
* Experience in planning copper and fiber optic network additions and estimating OSP projects by detail
* Familiarity with Broadband Serving Area Design
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, professional documentation, and blueprints
* Demonstrated skill in the use of Site Tracker, IQGeo, PDF editing software, Microsoft Office Suite
* Previous experience using telecommunications engineering systems such as: Infinium, M6, FROGS/Spatial Engineer (AutoCAD based GIS), DPI/Endeavor, and Varasset highly desired

Position overview
Reporting to our Process Engineering Manager the Process Engineer will lead the delivery of digital validation solutions and process improvement initiatives for our life sciences customers.
The successful candidate will lead implementation project execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with customers to ensure high-quality outcomes. We are seeking someone with a strong background in validation engineering or life sciences who is curious about SaaS platforms and eager to work at the intersection of regulated processes and digital innovation to ensure our customers derive maximum value from the Kneat Gx platform. You'll work directly with customers, manage project delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement across tools and practices. The position may also involve onsite assignments at customer locations as required. Responsibilities
• Lead customer projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Translate customer processes into digital workflows using validation software.
• Act as the main technical contact for assigned projects, supporting both customers and internal teams.
• Contribute to internal documentation, training, and process improvements.
• Represent Kneat within customer organisations, building strong relationships, and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Engage with customer stakeholders (remotely and/or onsite) to understand business objectives and influence decision makers. Providing ongoing technical and strategic guidance to maximise customer value.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and support knowledge sharing across teams.
• Apply strong understanding of validation principles and industry standards to project work.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal and external users on platform functionality.
• Support onboarding and mentorship of junior team members
• Influencing executive stakeholders and supporting commercial conversations.
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Typically a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g. life sciences, pharma, medical devices), with flexibility based on qualifications and project exposure.
• Strong knowledge of validation practices such as CSV/CSA, CQV, or Process Validation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GAMP, ICH, or 21 CFR.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in software and digital tools, with a willingness to learn about SaaS platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver to deadlines.
Nice to haves
• Experience in consulting or onsite customer delivery.
• Postgraduate qualification (Masters) in Engineering, Validation, Project Management or related field.
• Experience with digital validation platforms or SaaS tools (Kneat Gx, SAP, BMRAM, Trackwise, etc.).
• A proactive mindset and interest in continuous improvement.
• Project Management experience.
• PMP certification is a significant bonus.

GNRC is responsible for developing the Regional Transportation Plan and Transportation Improvement Program for the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and is a key partner in planning activities carried out by public transit agencies, local governments, the TN Department of Transportation, and neighboring MPOs and Rural Planning Organizations.
Primary Responsibilities of the Department:
Facilitate major updates to the Regional Transportation Plan, Transportation Improvement Program, and Unified Planning Work Program for the Nashville metropolitan planning area;
Coordinate transportation planning, programming, and project delivery activities with the TN Department of Transportation, area public transportation providers, and neighboring MPOs and Rural Planning Organizations;
Compile an annual inventory of public infrastructure needs from local governments, transportation agencies, utility districts, and school boards;

Assist GNRC in the procurement and oversight of on-call engineering firms selected to help design projects being implemented through GNRC's quick build transportation improvement program;
Assist local governments in the management of their on-call engineering firms hired to facilitate project development through the TN Department of Transportation's local programs process;
Assist in the development of local and regional plans by 1) documenting and analyzing existing conditions and trends, 2) identifying and assessing best practices and tools, and 3) recommending policies, actions, or investment strategies tailored to address planning objectives;
Lead/assist in the development of maps and other data visualizations;
Present staff reports to elected officials, planning boards, stakeholder organizations, and the general public;
Provide guidance and/or coordinate with planning and engineering firms and local jurisdictions engaged in regional and corridor level planning studies and engineering analysis;
Build and strengthen partnerships with community-based organizations and advocates, universities and research institutions, business groups, local governments, public transit agencies, the TN Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, Federal Transit Administration, among others; and
Participate in industry associations and continuing education opportunities to remain current on emerging and best practices related transportation planning.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in transportation planning or engineering within a state DOT, regional planning organization, transit agency, or local government setting and possess working knowledge of designing transportation improvement projects. Candidates with a track record of designing complete streets projects are preferred. A master's degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with at least two years of professional experience. A bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the master's degree. Foreign degrees and credentials will be considered.
Compensation: The minimum starting pay rate is dependent on experience and qualifications. We're looking for a Signal Processing Engineer to join our algorithm and development team, working on remote vital sign monitoring from video. You'll develop and validate algorithms that extract clinical-grade physiological signals (heart rate, blood pressure, respiration) from camera data, working closely with computer vision engineers in our algorithm team.
