Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance is currently searching for a Field Sales Support Specialist in Springfield, IL.
The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing SalesRepresentative to support and increase the sales activity in the SalesRepresentative's region. Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials
Inspection and evaluation of the property
Preparing roof drawings and sketches
Preparing scope of work documents
Preparing proposals
Attending sales calls
Pricing patch and repair jobs
Providing technical expertise
Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems
Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs.
Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products
Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications
Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions
Coordinating visits with contractors
Preparing reports on progress and problems for the SalesRepresentative.
QA/ QA+ inspections
Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof
May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor. May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
This Work May Include But Is Not Limited To
Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs
Taking photographs
Preparing CADD drawings
Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education And/or Experience
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role.
Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.
Qualifications
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards.
Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $70,000 and $90,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

Position Summary:
The Ticket Sales Account Executive position requires an individual who is a self-starter, not afraid to contact people and can sell. Key Requirements:
Extensive background in Plumbing & HVAC is essential.
Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug testing.
Role and Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and schematics with precision.
Collaborate with customers and outsidesales teams to identify suitable solutions for meeting customer requirements.
Address customer inquiries about product details, pricing, availability, and applications.
Coordinate product deliveries and oversee the logistics.
Assist in the collection of outstanding payments from customers.
Attend industry trade shows and engage in product training.
Offer post-sales support by consulting with clients to resolve issues.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers.
Ensure prompt order processing and confirmations using the Eclipse ordering system.
Provide price quotes, credit terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
Follow up on submitted estimates and bids.
Handle customer requests for quotes and product information.
Identify potential customers and expand territories through various strategies.
Manage customer orders from inception to delivery.
Stay updated on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
Occasionally visit job sites for on-site troubleshooting.
Participate in monthly sales meetings and industry events.
Be available for after-hours customer calls and shop access.
Process warranty claims efficiently.
Generate reports and assist the Branch Manager as needed.
Provide competitive analysis to support dealer acquisition.
Distribute product brochures and catalogs to customers.
Offer comprehensive information on the company's product range.
Conduct post-sales follow-ups when necessary.
Provide technical support, including monitoring shipping, delivery, and returns.
Recommend products tailored to customer needs and interests.
Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries.
Fulfill additional tasks as requested.
These responsibilities reflect the diverse and multifaceted nature of the role, combining technical expertise, customer engagement, and administrative tasks.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Quickly acquire proficiency in Eclipse software.
Execute tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence.
Employ critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions through logical reasoning.

Capably assess and prioritize workloads for efficient task management.
Exhibit a friendly demeanor and maintain a positive attitude, delivering exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
Demonstrate keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
Possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
Maintain professionalism and patience while managing a demanding workload.
Possess knowledge of plumbing products and markets.
Exhibit maturity and extensive experience in interacting with individuals at all levels, including management, personnel, and customers.
