Overnight Warehouse Lead Driver:

Managers in Training (MIT) will participate in our three phased program that includes on-the-job experience as well as virtual, instructor-led sessions.

This is an hourly (non-exempt) and non-CDL position working both in the warehouse and driving doing residential deliveries of various publications in the early morning, third shift hours.

PCF is a Distribution Service Provider focused on the delivery needs of the high-density, high-pressure Northeast region. PCF has almost 40 years of experience completing deliveries from southern New Jersey to southern New Hampshire.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend mandatory onsite and virtual trainings for the MIT program.
Unloads newspapers from delivery trucks
Assists in dispatching newspapers to delivery drivers
Drives routes using personal vehicle, covers open routes and delivers newspapers to residences.
Other duties and tasks may be required as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to use computer and other office equipment.
May be required to be trained and be able to use the pallet jack or other warehouse equipment.
Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license in the state where residing, and automobile insurance at limits required by PCF.

Required Physical Abilities

Able to unload bundles of newspapers (30 - 50 lbs each) multiple times on a daily basis.
Able to operate automobile.
Able to work in a warehouse type environment.
Able to function at night in adverse conditions.

As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability for one RaceTrac store on designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will continually deliver on RaceTrac's mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, clean focus, leading talent, and driving success.

Friendly

* Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experience for guests
* Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests
* Communicate respectfully and maintain a consistent team-oriented attitude
* Efficiently complete guest transactions at the cash register or self-checkout stations and suggest products that complement purchases
* Address and mitigate any guest concerns on designated shifts with a sense of urgency and involve appropriate regional team members as needed

Food

* Direct, monitor, and adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local safety-related regulations, including food safety regulations
* Ensure that all food offers are available

Clean

* Ensure the store is clean and fully stocked to provide an elevated guest experience
* Responsible for executing shift duties, maintaining overall presentation standards, and representing the RaceTrac brand
* Clean food preparation areas and equipment to RaceTrac standards

(Required work experience and education / preferred experience and education that is beneficial to the role. Work experience can include management experience or any functional expertise where proficiency is necessary to be successful in the role)

* High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed
* 2-3 years' work experience preferred
* 1+ years management experience preferred
* Previous experience working in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environment preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Takes initiative
* Can lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job, with no or infrequent breaks
