What is the role?
* Receiving requests for quote and replying in timely matter
* Placing purchase orders based upon requisitions/MRP notification and entering orders into the computer
* Planning jobs including breaking down a bill of material and building it the MRP system
* Bidding product lines to ensure most competitive pricing and delivery, while maintaining quality
* Expediting purchase orders, ensuring supplier deliveries are on time and that all generated reports reflect current and accurate dates and information.
* Ensuring that all delivered commodities meet company standards and are of good quality and negotiating with suppliers on replacement of materials not conforming to company.

As an Application Engineer with the E2METRIX PFAS Solutions team, you will be assisting with the process design, sales support, estimating, and onsite piloting of PFAS water treatment equipment.
The role is based in our Salt Lake City office, and you will enjoy our hybrid working model. Expected domestic travel is 10-30%. You must hold a valid driver's license and passport.
What is the role?
* Work with Product Managers and Engineering to support sales by preparing quotes and responding to client RFPs, requiring in-depth product and process knowledge for sizing and pricing.
* Provide process support and technical process expertise to E2METRIX lab staff during bench-scale studies using PFAS technology. Responsibilities may include travel to lab sites, experiment design, sampling, data analysis, and report preparation support.
* Offer process support and specialized expertise to E2METRIX field personnel throughout onsite pilot initiatives. Responsibilities may include traveling to multiple locations, facilitating operational activities, experiment design, sampling, data analysis, preparing technical reports, and providing expert guidance and direction-both to colleagues and clients-in the operation and troubleshooting of PFAS pilot treatment systems as necessary.
* Support the ongoing upkeep and use of appropriate design methods, sizing, and costing programs (OPEX and CAPEX) for E2METRIX PFAS solution offering including electro-oxidation for PFAS destruction, ozone foam fractionation, and media-based PFAS removal solutions.
* Read and comprehend PFDs, P&ID's, and standard engineering drawings and verify their accuracy.
* Review calculations, models, layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions created by drafters/designers and other engineers for accuracy and consistency.
Does this sound like you?
* Bachelor's or Master's M.S. degree preferred degree in Civil and Environmental, Industrial, Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
* 0-3 years of process engineering-related experience in water/wastewater/waste/landfill leachate industry in North America.

Your role and responsibilities

Qualifications for the role
* BS Engineering, BS Management required.
* 5+ Years Field service project experience with an electrical OEM, experience leading long term field assignments, and field quality assurance delivery focusing on procedures and implementation.
* Ability to travel 80-100% of the time within North America and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.
* Ability to develop and implement test, start-up, and commissioning plans with third party Cx agents.
* Experience leading start-up teams responsible for ABB and GE LV and MV electrical equipment, relays, and PRN networks preferred.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams of electrical field engineers and technicians as well as third party contractors preferred.

Based at our Ogden, UT facility and working 100% onsite, you'll report to the Supervisor of Maintenance. Your day starts with oral and written work instructions and a review of blueprints and drawings, then moves into hands-on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and process equipment to keep operations running.
Your impact
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment using blueprints and other technical drawings.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including visual inspections to catch worn parts, potential malfunctions, and irregularities; maintain preventive maintenance records.
Troubleshoot issues and replace or repair defective components to restore equipment to service.
Repair and service pumps, valves, blowers, compressors, vessels, conveyors, and other mechanical process equipment; fabricate equipment or components as needed.
Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and related machinist tools to make and repair parts.
Use hand tools (manual and power), material handling equipment, and gas and electric arc welding equipment.
Maintain a plant-wide lubrication program.
Coordinate area activities with the central maintenance shop; assist other maintenance technicians or engineers.
Train other craftsmen as assigned and periodically provide direction to lower-classified craftsmen.

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will focus on the Commercial Construction market segment in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex proposals by analyzing RFP documents and implementing strategic plans to create Clean, Competitive, Compliant, and Compelling proposals. This role involves configuring products and collaborating with other proposal resources as needed. The goal is to produce clean, executable orders that balance market competitiveness, company profitability, and customer needs. A deep understanding of the various products and markets served by the ABB Electrification business is essential for this position.

You will be mainly accountable for:
* Create clean, competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals for projects in the Commercial Contractor segment. Ensure alignment with ABB processes and focus on high-probability, high-profitability opportunities.
* Partner closely with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers, and Sales Managers/Reps to guide proposal strategy and maintain clear, concise communication across Electrification Products U.S.
* Organize and participate in Project Strategy and Risk Meetings to align on key priorities and ensure project success. Take initiative to surface challenges early and collaborate across teams to find solutions. Approach each opportunity with commercial intensity-advocating for customer needs while balancing strategic business objectives.
* Seek out training, resources, and mentorship to support ongoing development. Collaborate with project management to ensure that awarded projects are executable and profitable from the start.
Qualifications for the role:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Engineering or a related field strongly preferred.
* Strong technical expertise in electrical distribution systems, including ABB's product portfolio, industry design standards, and configuration tools (e.g., ABB Empower).
* At least 8 years of experience in the electrical distribution or a related industry, with a minimum of 5 years focused on sales and project quotations.
* Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-with the ability to build relationships and lead cross-functional collaboration.
* Proficiency in digital tools for remote work and organization, such as Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Teams, and similar platforms.
* Must have current authorization to work in the United States for ABB; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

* Help with the set-up and operation of dimensional inspection equipment.

Contract Template Creation and Adaptation:
* Assist in the adaptation of service agreement template(s) for Airbus Americas use, including coordinating with Airbus colleagues in the business and contracts areas to clarify all necessary points provided in draft templates, for all areas of the business, including Digital, Training, Upgrades, Flight Ops, Materials, FHS etc..

Contract Review and Drafting:
* Review draft agreements based on approved Airbus Americas templates customized by the business to insure adherence to the (i) Airbus Americas template (ii) Airbus Americas standards, (iii) Customer specific language and modifications, and general clarity for concept and language, ensuring appropriate attachments are incorporated, clarity of technical solutions, appropriate commercial conditions and suitable payment plans are included. Be able to analyze agreements to determine financial and legal risks.
* Determine and catalogue the deviations from standard in draft agreements and determine when further approval is appropriate (by contracts management or appropriate specialists). Submit reviewed agreements for further review to the appropriate specialists (i.e. Legal, Tax, Finance, E&C, Insurance, etc.) as appropriate, work with specialists to resolve issues within the documents, and work with the business to determine creative solutions for Customer requested changes. Ensure final draft Agreements are routed for appropriate approval as per the Airbus Americas Internal Approval Policy.
Other Duties as assigned:
* Work with the various Business Units to educate them on the proper use of Airbus Americas templates, importation of templates and updated templates into BU tools, and proper validation of agreement drafts before submitting for Airbus Americas review.
* Assist the Contracts Director with the development of the standard clause library, developing a library of standard approved clauses to be used in template creation, as well as specific clauses to be used on an as needed basis for irregular contractual needs.
* Serve as the backup to the regional Contracts Director.
