This position is onsite in Tulsa, OK Senior Manager Process Architect Responsibilities Include: Value Stream Ownership & Strategy Own end-to-end design and performance a portfolio of enterprise processes spanning multiple functions, sites, and/or LLCs. Develop a multi-year roadmap of process, policy, and control improvements aligned to business strategy, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Partner with leaders to define value-stream targets (throughput, quality, cost, cycle time, risk) and align improvement priorities to those targets. Anticipate regulatory, customer, and volume shifts; design proactive process and control changes to maintain stability and compliance. Portfolio & Governance Management Design and architect optimized processes to lead to increased revenue generation, financial savings linked to improved productivity, & to deliver enhanced user experience. Architect processes for portfolio improvements and lead enterprise wide initiatives with clearly defined benefit owners, milestones, KPIs, and sustainability/control plans. Stand up and maintain SOP lifecycle governance (draft → review → approve → communicate/train → audit → retire), including defined roles, workflows, and approval thresholds. Establish and lead cadence reviews (e.g., monthly/quarterly ops reviews) to assess portfolio health, surface risks, and resolve barriers. Ensure that escalation paths, decision rights, and guardrails are codified, communicated, and consistently applied across sites/LLCs. Standardization & Control Design Reduce variation across locations and teams through standard work, templates, checklists, and playbooks. Design control plans that balance efficiency, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, including preventive, detective, and corrective controls. Integrate process controls with risk/compliance partners for regular control testing, evidence capture, and remediation tracking. Collaborate with audit, risk, and compliance teams to address findings, close gaps, and prevent recurrence. Frontline-First Process & Experience Design Design frontline-first experiences that simplify work (mobile steps, smart defaults, prompts, simplified forms, intuitive workflows). Conduct Gemba walks and job shadowing to understand current-state pain points, friction, and rework; translate insights into practical design changes. Apply Lean, human-centered design, and continuous improvement methods to reduce handoffs, complexity, and error opportunities. Partner with technology, HR, and operations teams to embed process changes into systems, tools, and training. Capacity Planning & Workforce Optimization Implement capacity planning, staffing, and scheduling models that align resources with demand and service-level expectations. Design processes that smooth work across time (e.g., leveling peaks, reducing overtime spikes, reducing last-minute work). Monitor demand and workload drivers; recommend structural changes (e.g., role design, cross-training, automation opportunities) to improve productivity and employee experience. Measurement, Analytics & Reporting Define and maintain a value-stream metrics framework (e.g., throughput, cycle time, predictability, backlog, cost-per-X, error rates, audit findings). Publish quarterly value-stream health reports that highlight performance trends, root causes, and recommended actions. Use quantitative modeling and scenario analysis to estimate benefit, cost, and risk impact for proposed changes. Ensure data quality and consistency for key process metrics; collaborate with Analytics/IT teams to automate dashboards where possible. Change Leadership & Coaching Coach leaders and frontline teams on standard work, visual management, tiered huddles, and problem-solving routines. Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to engage stakeholders in redesigning processes and controls. Build capability in Lean, continuous improvement, and process thinking across the organization through mentoring and informal training. Role-model a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data-driven decision making. Senior Manager Process Architect Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Approximately 9+ years of progressive experience in process improvement, operations, or process architecture roles. Demonstrated experience owning or orchestrating multi-function processes or value streams (cross-functional scope vs. single department). Experience working in a regulated and/or highly controlled environment (e.g., government contracting, healthcare, financial services, or similar). Proven track record of leading medium-to-large process improvement initiatives from concept through implementation and sustainability. Strong quantitative skills, including comfort with process metrics, benefit modeling, and basic statistical analysis. Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or in progress) or equivalent advanced process improvement credential. Experience deploying command centers, control towers, or similar telemetry solutions to monitor operations in near real-time. Prior experience standardizing processes across multiple sites, divisions, or legal entities. Experience integrating process and control design with risk/compliance, audit, or internal controls functions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Process & Governance: Deep knowledge of process mapping, SOP design, control frameworks, and governance structures. Portfolio Management: Ability to manage a portfolio of improvement efforts, prioritize based on value/risk, and track benefits to realization. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative modeling skills; ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and build actionable insights. Change Management: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional change, influence without authority, and manage stakeholder expectations. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex process concepts into clear, frontline-friendly guidance. Coaching & Facilitation: Skilled at coaching leaders and frontline staff, facilitating workshops, and building problem-solving capability. Plans and implements a curriculum of developmentally appropriate activities in conjunction with staff, colleagues, and supervisors. Schedules and/or attends regular meetings with staff, supervisors, and colleagues. Understands and implements daily diversity and inclusion practices, ensuring all students and adults feel safe and welcome. Regardless of gender identifiers, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, faith, and background. Demonstrates a high level of professional ethics through fair and consistent implementation of all YMCA policies and procedures and licensure requirements with staff, program participants and parents. Ensures efficient implementation of planned activities. Models appropriate behaviors for staff under supervision. Maintains current and accurate knowledge of YMCA programs, policies and procedures. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures regarding the prevention of abuse. Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or misconduct immediately to the appropriate supervisory staff. Attend mandatory training on abuse prevention, including recognizing signs of abuse, and reporting requirements. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Required: Must be 18 years old High School Diploma or GED Positive role model with strong leadership, conflict resolution, and diplomacy skills. At least 1 year working and/or volunteering with children Desire to work with children on a daily basis Current CPR/First Aid/O2 certification (will provide upon employment) Preferred: Bilingual- English/Spanish Excellent communication skills Associate's degree, Teacher Certification or higher 6 months experience with program development and implementation One or more years of college in a related field (i.e. recreation, child development, psychology, etc.) Salary Description $14.00 - $15.00/hour
