Develops and implements a PLC PM program which will increase PLC reliability and longevity, Ability to trouble shoot within the following areas and documents repair procedures. (microprocessor, pneumatics, PLC programming. Modifies and updates schematics, catalogs. Assists the MRO buyer in determining parts inventory to support the maintenance function as it relates to automation within the plant. Complete and maintain all the records, reports, and history files associated with the network. Maintains good housekeeping in the area and follows Electrically Safe Work Practices (ESWP) BEHAVIOR Works with other members of the maintenance and production departments to continuously improve methods of integrating controls and technology, with the goals being to enhance safety, functionality and productivity as well as reduced cost. Identifies alternatives, evaluates those alternatives and determines appropriate actions to move forward while communicating with the management team. Makes solid engineering decisions that are implementable in a timely manner. Reduces complex aspects of instrumentation and control engineering to terms understandable to others Understands and implements as well as enforces company technical standards on projects. Presents communications in an organized fashion and with appropriate level of detail Able to work calmly under pressure and can effectively adapt to change and the quick pace of manufacturing.
