**Job Description** : The role of Corporate Learning & Development Specialist is tailored for a learning and development professional with experience in instructional design, training delivery, and/or project/program management. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in creating, delivering, and maintaining role-based, technical, and operational learning programs that enable teammates to build the skills necessary to succeed in their specific functions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing learning solutions that enhance performance, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate time-to-proficiency. As part of the Learning & Development (GLD) team, this role will collaborate with subject matter experts, operational leaders, and business stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and support a culture of continuous learning and development across Owens & Minor.
**The anticipated salary range for this position is $90k-$95k annually. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location. The ideal candidate will reside in the central/eastern time zone.**
**Core Responsibilities** :
+ 3+ years' experience facilitating role-based and technical training to improve teammate performance, operational proficiency, and application of technical skills.
+ 3+ years' experience developing and maintaining job-specific training materials, such as job aids, user guides, SOPs, quick reference guides, and technical e-learning modules.
+ Demonstrates understanding and application of adult learning theory, performance-based learning principles, and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) to create engaging and effective technical learning solutions.
+ Utilizes learning technology (e.g., Cornerstone LMS, Articulate) to deliver blended learning programs, manage training logistics, and track completion data.
+ Collaborates with SMEs and business leaders to align learning solutions to operational and business needs, and continually improves programs based on feedback and performance outcomes.
+ Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned
**Qualifying Experience:**
+ Associate's degree or higher preferred (or equivalent experience in L&D, Training, Instructional Design, or Operations).
+ 3+ years' experience designing, delivering, and evaluating technical, system, or role-based learning programs, preferably in a corporate or operational environment.
+ Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills to support multiple programs simultaneously.
+ Must be able to perform work and thrive under minimal supervision (virtual work environment) and demonstrate the ability to handle issues and problems, knowing when and where to escalate complex issues
+ Possess the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
+ Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and individually
+ Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Forms, Publisher, SharePoint, etc.)
+ Possess the ability and desire to stay current on industry trends, tools, and techniques
+ 3+ years' experience with learning technologies (Cornerstone LMS, Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Canva, etc.).
+ Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools a plus
+ Experience creating microlearning content, eLearning modules, and operational process training strongly preferred.
+ Willingness and ability to stay current on learning technologies, instructional trends, and best practices in technical training.
+ ATD, SHRM, or other industry experience/certifications a plus
+ The position is remote and located within the U.S. Some flexibility in start and end times may be necessary to support global projects, programs, and initiatives

**JOB SUMMARY**
Assists in the treatment and management of patients with clinical needs.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provides instruction to patients and/or caregivers on the proper use of equipment and/or respiratory care procedures.
+ Ensures patients and/or caregivers can effectively operate and maintain equipment. Performs clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, and vital signs.
+ Responsible for routine patient follow-up contacts based on individual needs.
+ May need to perform on-call duties as needed.
+ Provides and operates various types of respiratory care equipment including but not limited to oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
+ Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
+ Prepares and maintains a record for each patient containing all pertinent information, care plans, physician prescriptions and follow-up documentation.
+ Responsible for accurate data entry on monitoring websites for certain respiratory equipment
+ Consults with referring physician regarding patient treatment, medical condition, home environment, and Plan of Care.
+ Participates in ongoing education and training sessions regarding respiratory patient care.
+ Assist with patient scheduling as needed.

+ Must possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance per Apria policy. Will be required to drive personal vehicle for patient home visits.
+ Registration or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
+ Hold a current RCP license in the states of **Indiana and Illinois** (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy.
+ Hold a current CPR Certification.
+ Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice.

What a Manufacturing Technician II contributes to Cardinal Health
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.

Responsibilities
Manufactures radioactive isotopes (includes synthesis set up, hot cell manipulations, distribution)
Conducts quality control testing of each batch (utilizing gas chromatograph, pipettor, TLC plate scanner etc.)
Assemble sterile vials in a controlled environment
Performs environmental and personnel monitoring
Demonstrates strong documentation practices,
Performs clerical and administrative tasks, including maintenance of daily production records, report preparation and maintenance records

**_Work Environment_**

+ The facility is operated under well-controlled and closely monitored conditions that are regulated by both State and Federal agencies, and that are enforced by the corporate internal quality and regulatory groups.
+ Each staff member will receive specific training in keeping radiation exposures within regulatory guidelines and will be routinely monitored for their exposure to radiation. Noise levels are considered low to moderate.
**_Qualifications_**
+ Bachelor's degree in Microbiology/Biology or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
+ 5+ years in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with emphasis in one of the following areas preferred: QC microbiology, environmental monitoring, critical systems monitoring, quality control, aseptic manufacturing.
+ Experience in authoring a variety of forms of documentation such as SOPs, Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations and Laboratory Investigations is desirable.

Responsible for Equipment and Facilities sustainment efforts and activities. Up to and including scheduling, performing, and documenting routing maintenance and break/fix operations.
Works with EHS and RSO to adhere to Radiation Safety Program (Best Practices and Policies)
Ensures attainment of budget objectives through effective financial management and optimal utilization of resources.
Acts as liaison to ensure and take an active role in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and corporate contacts through regular interactions.
Ensures internal quality and regulatory standards are maintained at or above an acceptable level.
Ensures positive working relationships with all CAH employees through regular interactions, team building, and active listening.
Oversees and is accountable for safety for all employees and security of the facility.
Ensures operational procedures are followed with and adhere to federal, state, local, and company regulations.
Prepares regular reports and analysis for management, customer correspondence, succession plans, and employee documentation.
Ensures high quality products and services are delivered to customers (both internally and externally); and works within their abilities to resolve complaints.
Conducts staff meetings. Participates in organization-wide conferences and training activities.
Operates under well-controlled and closely monitored conditions (GMP), which are highly regulated by State and Federal agencies and internal quality and regulatory professionals.

**Qualifications**

Supervises Pharmacy Technicians to ensure the compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy. Checks all work of Pharmacy Technicians in line with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and provides guidance on complex prescriptions, pharmacy automation systems, orders, and other issues.
Adjusts dosages based on established protocols for each drug, ensuring that dosages are appropriate for the patient's condition and in light of other medications the patient is using and completes clinical tasks related to antimicrobial stewardship.
Educates patients on the proper use and expected effects of medications, especially when patients are using multiple medications, are beginning new regiments, or are being discharged.
Manages narcotics and inventory control and compliance, including regular documentation and completion of checklists. Audits outdated medication in states where Pharmacy Technicians are not permitted to do so.
Contacts Nurses and Physicians as necessary to verify orders and obtain additional information regarding the order.
Assists the Pharmacy Director in maintaining the pharmacy's accreditation and in implementing operational changes within the pharmacy, such as the use of new systems or adjustments of standard procedures.
