The Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading a team of workers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing project timelines. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company. You will spend your first week in Youngstown, Ohio and will be traveling 85% of the time. Responsibilities Perform general construction tasks with a focus on concrete and electrical work Oversee three-to-four-man crew Safely operate and maneuver equipment and job site trailers Read and understand blueprints and sketches and build to specification instructions with precision and quality Ensure job is coordinated from start to finish to maximize efficiency and safety Provide detailed and accurate reporting of daily duties performed. Perform restoration of areas where work has been performed (leveling, seed, and straw) Coordinate with subcontractors and keep them on task Maintain a clean and safe jobsite Coordinate with local inspectors and Utility companies to execute the full scope of work Requirements and Skills Must be willing to travel in the Midwest up to 85% of the time (generally travel for 3-4 weeks and then a paid week at home). Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of landscape experience with at least 1 year of leadership experience. Able to read plans and perform layout accurately. Able to communicate well verbally and in writing. OSHA 10 card holder is a plus but is not required. Bilingual Spanish and English a plus but not required. Able to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and squat for prolonged periods throughout the day. Able to work in all types of weather, including summer heat and sun.
