Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Service technician to join our team. The Lead Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or arranging for repairs. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter who is able to work autonomously, has a mix of mechanical, and technical skills and takes initiative and has pride in their work. Responsibilities
Perform highly diversified duties to repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment other related devices
Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner
Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements
Troubleshoot various types of equipment, able to make repairs as needed
Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order
Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
Wayne certified
VeriFone certified
Good working knowledge of petroleum systems and tank monitors
Skills:
Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring
Will maintain a valid driver's License as well as a clean driving record
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be available for on-call rotation
Experience with computer tasks such as software installation, installing hard drives, networks, routers, printers and other components

Your Role on the Team

Your Experience Includes
High School diploma or equivalent
OSHA 10 is required (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified).
Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, other building maintenance or related experience.
Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems and ability to perform general repairs in some of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, HVAC (minor) and appliances. Some training will be provided.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual a plus
Comfortability using mobile devices (i.e. iPad and/or iPhone) and various mobile applications
Must possess a current driver's license, automobile insurance, and any other licenses and/or certification as required by state law
The following certifications are preferred but not required:
EPA Certification, Type I and II
HVAC Certification
CPO certification (pool)
Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
Ability to perform work that requires the following:

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Tech II assists all maintenance personnel in the short term, preventative and emergency maintenance programs for the buildings, grounds and equipment at the campus. This position supervises special projects, handles compliance issues when needed and performs independent tasks. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

4. Completes all work orders in a timely manner.

11. Is available for on-call situations on a regular rotating and emergency basis.

PREREQUISITES:
A. Education:
- Advanced technical training in at least four of the following areas: mechanics, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, landscaping, or HVAC required.
-HVAC and Universal EPA certifications are required.
-CPO certification required.
B. Direct Previous Experience:
- Mechanical or maintenance experience required.
- Two years' experience in a similar maintenance position desired.
C. Skills:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must conduct all business with a professional manner and with a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to use hand tools, automatic / electrical machinery, carts, and dollies.
- Ability to exhibit efficient computer skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Learns to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs under the supervision of a master or senior Mercedes-Benz Technician utilizing all tools available in order to do so.
Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed under the supervision of a master or senior Mercedes-Benz Technician.
Works with Service Consultants to communicate vehicle needs and proper vehicle repairs.
Works with Team Leads as required to complete assigned work.
Perform at a high efficiency to complete client's vehicles and operates by utilizing lean production methods in order to do so.
Keeps work areas neat, clean and free of all clutter; operating in a high professional environment.
Helps maintain shop equipment and tools; returning them once complete.
Attends training classes and departmental meetings.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
SKILLS / REASONING ABILITY / PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications. Responsibilities
Perform highly diversified duties to repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment other related devices
Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner
Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements
Troubleshoot various types of equipment, able to make repairs as needed
