DHT is looking for Owner Operators to join our propane division. Our tanker division hauls propane, butane, and ammonia. We are licensed to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada. This position is OTR and requires a hazmat and tanker endorsement along with a clean driving record. Job Description TRANSPORTATION DRIVER Under general supervision, the Transportation Driver for PACE Southeast Michigan performs activities related to the transportation of program participants, and or medical supplies, to and from the program site and other facilities as directed. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: Maintains established departmental and system policies and procedures and objectives, including but not limited to the following: Quality Assurance Program Safety Environmental Infection Control Standards Transports program participants to and from the program site or other assigned areas, as directed by the transportation supervisor or manager. Assists the program participants to and from the vehicle, to the participants' residence or the center in a safe manner, using the appropriate assistive devices as necessary. Participates in all scheduled education programs, in-services, or staff meetings as directed. Utilizes safe and appropriate body mechanics, and transfer techniques when providing transportation services to program. Responsible for properly securing wheelchairs and safety belts for wheelchair participants. Performs other related duties as necessary, assigned or requested by the transportation supervisor or manager. Some of these extra duties include the following: Maintenance of the buses-adding oil to the motor, adding brake fluid, windshield wiper fluid, brake fluid, transmission fluid, putting air in tires, charging bus battery if bus won't start, as well as, gassing bus and dropping off/picking up bus for repair. Cleaning of bus-this includes extermination & disinfection of bus after contamination of bed bugs and bodily fluids such as vomit, urine, and feces. Other responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the delivery of: All medication on a daily basis (average of 125 meds/supplements a day such as ensure, Pedialyte, frozen meals, diapers, syringes, gauze, etc). Drivers are held responsible if these items are not delivered. After a participant is deceased, drivers are responsible for picking up any items that belong to PACE or any items the family may choose to donate. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: A valid, unrestricted, Michigan CDL license - Class A or B, with Passenger endorsement, and a driving record that falls into an acceptable category. The Shuttle Bus Driver is an essential member of our team and is the brand ambassador, providing the fastest, easiest, and most valued experience to our customers. This team member is responsible for the safe, friendly, efficient transportation of customers between multiple airport terminals and the parking lot location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide timely shuttle service to customers to/from airport terminal to parking lot, in compliance with company policies and procedures and local laws. Personally, welcome customers boarding the bus, assist with luggage and answer questions in a friendly manner. Effectively communicate stops and safety information; if needed, communicate with other Courtesy Service Drivers, Bus operations Supervisor using standard codes. Provide excellent customer service to all customers Conduct bus inspection to ensure customer and employee safety and bring any defect / damage to the attention of the supervisor. GENERAL PUPOSE: To provide transportation to Clawson Seniors age 55+ and those with disabilities for medical appointments, grocery shopping, our in-house lunch and special programs, for local errands, such as to the bank, pharmacy, post office, therapy, etc. as well as occasional mall shopping trips, movies, restaurants outings, and other trips scheduled through the Senior Program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Drive Senior Center bus or car, providing door to door transportation to Clawson's senior and disabled population. Make sure that all persons are inside their destination before leaving. Assist passengers in getting on and off the van including wheelchair bound individuals, using lift and securing chair in the vehicle. Collect transportation fees and turn in daily to Director of Recreation and Senior Services. May assist with packages or groceries. Requires flexible work hours; dependent on clients' needs, unanticipated lengthy appointments and occasional special events. Review daily transportation schedule with dispatcher. Must adhere to all driving policies provided by the State of Michigan Attend trainings on passenger sensitivity, wheelchair securement, and CPR. Report actual mileage, gas usage, and number of clients served to Dispatcher. Keeps daily routine check on vehicle (including, but not limited to : tires, gas, oil, chair lift function.) Report any maintenance problems, concerns or incidences to Director of Recreation and Senior Services for follow up. Must undergo random drug and alcohol screening. Driver may occasionally be asked to serve as the Driver and trip escort. Other related duties as necessary.

As a premier health care provider in the Metro Detroit community, Back to You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation delivers expert injury rehabilitation, chronic pain treatment, nutrition education, and elite fitness training to patients of all ages. Driver would be responsible for door to door service, to and from appointments scheduled by our transportation manager. They will maintain driver transportation logs, uploading proper documentation/paperwork to the patients chart. Requirement to have a clean driving record, a chauffeur license, and DOT card. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7am-7pm, may need weekends. This does not mean that is the set schedule, you will be required to work hours set by manager and the needs of patients. Driver must be able to pass a health physical and drug test. We ask that potential hires sign a MVR Consent Form.
