provides on-going training and instruction in areas related to passenger relations, safety, accident prevention, bus maintenance; and keeps records of training provided, course content and attendees. * Helps perform extra board mark-up, shake-up, and operator bidding activities. * Gathers reports and operational data by entering division accident statistics and workers' compensation claims used to identify trends * Performs various administrative assignments. * Provides direction to internal and external staff. * Adheres to safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of NCTD customers, employees, and business partners. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience/Education * High school diploma or equivalent * Two years of experience in bus operation, fleet dispatching, or closely related fields. * Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred * One year Coach Operator experience preferred.? * One year of Customer Service experience is preferred. A combination of experience/skills and education to fulfill the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position may be considered. Certificates/Licenses * Must have a current and valid California Driver's license with less than 6 points in the prior 36-month period and no DUIs in the prior 7 years. * Must have a CDL B and P2 License with appropriate endorsements. * Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton. About YOU: You must possess excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years' experience driving a commercial vehicle. Clean driving record and adherence to all safety regulations. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented demeanor. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Strong sense of accountability and reliability. Requirements Responsibilities Driving & Client Assistance Assist clients safely on and off the vehicles, ensuring proper restraints. Supervise clients attentively during transport. Other related duties as assigned Requirements Driving Qualifications All required documents and certifications must be maintained throughout employment. Must be at least 21 years old. Possess a valid CA Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with a passenger endorsement. Maintain a valid Medical Card for Class B (must obtain within 30 days of hire). Hold a current VDDP Certification through CHP (must obtain within 30 days of hire). Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire). Prior experience in transport services preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and comply with ongoing random DOT drug testing. Maintenance Qualifications Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire maintenance, brake replacements, belt replacement). Previous mechanic experience is a plus.
