Must be able to distinguish between safe and unsafe conditions at the job site, in traffic and throughout plant areas. Assemble the concrete chute and attach chute to the back of the truck. Control the appropriate levers on the truck to discharge concrete according to specifications Wash out truck and after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck. Perform minor maintenance to the assigned vehicle--tire pressure, oil change, lube job--as needed. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a CDL Other Skills and Abilities: Must meet insurability for driving requirements of the company. Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required. Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site. Essential Duties Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations. Working with the Dispatch team on customer calls. Operate heavy duty vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and buses.
