Liaison between drivers and both the customers and organization in customer service concerns Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment and labor policy matters. + Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance - drug testing and recordkeeping. + Drive routes periodically. + Other duties as required. This team will own Column's most important strategic and operational initiatives, with a heavy focus on designing new operating systems that will directly impact our ability to scale. Individuals in this role will serve as the “GM” of a particular product or project, diving deep into a wide range of challenges across product strategy, pricing optimization, compliance operations, and internal tool/platform development. Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on a vehicle. Accurately completes daily driver trip sheet for each shift with information including driver number, vehicle number, mileage, etc. Provides information to all customers where to catch the shuttle upon their return to the airport. Releasing a hand brake, turning the steering wheel, getting into and out of the drivers seat, wearing a seatbelt, assisting wheelchair passengers boarding and un-boarding a bus, securing wheelchair using a 4-point system, make all stop announcements. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of United States Currency. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills No computer skills required at this time.
