* With the goal of ensuring constant transportation support to Boring Company production operations (to include muck haul from mining, precast deliveries to mining operations, ad hoc movement of inventory between Boring Company sites), assign tasks, set performance metrics and work with all team members to ensure metrics are met. Independently lead on shift troubleshooting and management with minimal supervision from higher level management.
* Hire, onboard and train truck drivers, ensuring shift team members are in compliance with all local, state and federal requirements. Ensure all assigned shift truck drivers are and remain current with applicable Commercial Drivers' License (CDL) requirements.
* Fleet Registration: Manage and maintain accurate records for fleet registration, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Onboarding New Equipment: Oversee the onboarding process for new equipment, including inspection, registration, and integration into the fleet.
* Preventive Maintenance: In conjunction with mechanics (in house and outsourced): Define a preventive maintenance program for all assigned trucks; ensure 100% ontime completion of defined PMs and report same to management.
* Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of all assigned trucks, equipment, and parts required for defined PMs with the goal of 100% inventory accuracy and zero stockouts.
