Position Details
The Driver Supervisor at Stella-Jones is responsible for various aspects of driver management, equipment coordination, training, compliance, and operational support. This Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our transportation department.
Key Responsibilities:
Driver Management:
โข Review driver resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, and coordinate offers of employment with HR.
โข Assign new drivers to driver trainers and facilitate introductions.
โข Conduct new driver orientation and training sessions.
โข Supervise driver PTO (Paid Time Off) and coverage needs.
โข Conduct investigations regarding safety or operational concerns, facilitate corrective action, and provide additional training as necessary.
โข Supervise drivers with worker's compensation claims and complete required reporting.

Equipment and Logistics Coordination:

Qualifications

To qualify with Crane Freight and Cartage, you must meet the following criteria:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
Must have a valid social security number.
Must have legal right to work in the United States
Must have 2 or less moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years.
License have not been suspended or revoked in the last 3 years.
No conviction for DUI or DWI in the last 7 years
