Check fluid levels at the end and beginning of each shift Inspect all supplied tools such as chains, straps and cables to ensure equipment is in good and safe condition prior to the departure from the yard each day. Maintain clean truck inside and out, removing all trash/debris daily Wash exterior and interior of truck three (3) times per week Communicate with dispatch center (when safe to do so), meeting all company and DOT regulations via company 2‐way radio or Company provided mobile device of all vehicle information, location and progression of dispatch. Immediately report any issue that restricts the ability to complete the dispatch in a timely manner. Follow all company policies and DOT regulations with regards to the safe loading, securement and transportation of all vehicles, equipment and cargo from the point of pick to the point of completion. Follow all Company procedures with regard to towing, recovery and road service, including the removal of drive shafts and axels. Respectful communication with all dispatchers, co‐workers and customers is paramount to the ongoing success of our company. In the event of any disagreement or situation, it is company policy that you avoid all confrontations and report it to the Terminal Manager immediately. Complete manifests and tow slips as required by the company, local and state agencies as to vehicle, equipment or cargo, by identification or manifest number and point of loading and completion of the towing/ transportation event.
