About the Role This isn't just a driving job. As a part-time, on-call Medical Transport Driver (Pathology) at EPIARX, you'll be responsible for transporting the remains of deceased individuals between funeral homes and EPIARX's laboratory, ensuring each transfer is handled with professionalism, care, and respect. You'll serve as the calm in emotionally charged situations-handling people and logistics with professionalism, discretion, and care. This role involves driving a company transport van across the DC metro area (and occasionally beyond). Prior professional driving experience is required. Guidance and support are provided for staff who are new to autopsy transport procedures. This is an on-call position with variable hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and short-notice requests.
