Throughout his extensive career in the lending business, Alden Philbrick has managed the financing of over $5 billion in loans and leases to private and public companies.

Before founding Oxford Finance LLC, he established Oxford Venture Finance and served as its president and managing general partner. He also served as executive vice president and member of the corporate executive management team at Finalco, a publicly-held equipment leasing company that provided operating leases for equipment to Fortune 500 companies.

Alden holds a B.A. in Management Science and Public Policy from Duke University.

Josh Friedman has been a part of Oxford’s corporate finance team since 2011. He manages the corporate finance, FP&A, treasury and accounting functions at Oxford. He is also responsible for the structuring, execution and post-close management of Oxford’s ABS market issuances and private borrowing arrangements. Josh has over 10 years of experience in the specialty finance industry. Prior to joining Oxford, he worked in the underwriting and corporate finance groups at MCG Capital Corporation, a publicly traded business development company.

Josh holds a B.S. in Business and Finance, with a concentration in Investment Management, from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business. He is also a CFA® Charterholder.

Tim Lex has been a senior executive and management consultant in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. He has served as president and chief executive officer of Sallie Mae’s thrift division, president of a technology services company, and chief operating officer and board member of Riggs Bank.

Tim holds a B.A. in Economics from The College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester.

Oliver Johnson is a CTO at Oxford Finance and is based in Hempstead, New York.
