Additionally, they may also handle maintenance and cleaning tasks within a rehabilitation facility, including restocking supplies and cleaning therapeutic equipment.
Their main duties and responsibilities include supporting patient intake and assessment, conducting rehabilitation and therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, arranging patient transportation, and maintaining equipment and facility.
Essential skills include patient care, familiarity with therapeutic procedures, administrative skills, collaboration, and good communication skills. Education-wise, they usually have an associate's degree in a related field but can secure employment with only a high school diploma and relevant experience.
Because they provide therapy under supervision, they do not typically need certification and licensing. Such a position comes with a lot of responsibilities and monetary compensation.
They make an average of $12.92 an hour during a traditional workweek, although they may be required to work overtime or other shifts. The job is expected to grow in the coming years.
Delivery technicians are responsible for transporting goods from a manufacturer or distributor to a business or an individual retail customer. They perform some type of set-up or assembly of the product and demonstrate to the buyer how to operate the product. They also keep written records of what goods were delivered at what time and to whom.
Delivery technicians earn a median sum of $27,000 annually or $13 per hour. Delivery technicians are responsible for identifying and sharing systems enhancement ideas with the team while answering complex questions and requests from internal customers. They work in a variety of different industries and generally perform similar roles. Their duties may also include delivering large items such as furniture, electronics, appliances, or exercise equipment.
Delivery technicians mostly hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Although, technicians hoping to climb the ladder in the field may choose to earn a bachelor's or associate's degree from an accredited university. They are required to have a valid, state-issued driver's license to operate the vehicles. Some employers prefer candidates with physical strength, manual dexterity, and familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches or screwdrivers.
