In this role you will:
Lead team of technicians and managers to ensure the operation meets safety, sanitation and quality standards
Manage and develop manufacturing systems that increase productivity, quality and lower costs
Facilitate, educate, motivate, coach, counsel and guide the manufacturing team to ensure that they have the ability to deliver results
Sustain and advance process for continuous improvement
Manage employee and labor relations issues that impact the operation
Develop a vision of an effective work system and a plan to move the workforce in the direction of that vision
Help oversee the production scheduling and training functions
Ensure essential business information is clearly communicated and understood by all members of operation
Track to KPI's and utilize to make decisions
Partner with other functions to ensure services, goods, materials and ingredients for the operation are delivered in a timely manner
Provide a credible sounding board and counterbalance to the Plant Manager when exploring and discussing alternatives, concepts, ideas, etc.
Ensure employees clearly understand the operation vision and results toward goals
Effectively manage the Operation budget

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $87,600.00-$125,000.00.

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation and participation in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment.

In this role you will:
Primary administrator and troubleshooter for plant power and control systems and is a key member of plant technical leadership
Provide input to develop and manage power and control standards and ensure application of the standards on all projects and upgrades
Lead the execution of the site masterplan for power and controls systems to include understanding of the installed base, and replacement plan for obsolete equipment/technologies
Build and maintain a sustainable system for plant Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) technicians skill development.
Ensure technician compliance to local and national regulator codes (NFPA 70, NFPA 70e, NFPA 79 and OSHA 1910)
Responsible for validation of the MES data from PLCs. Support plant Process Engineers in conditioning PLC data to accommodate effective data analysis including application development
Provide support in the design and implementation of machine control and process automation applications, such as: control strategies, HMI design, MES applications and KPI development
Identify losses, and develop plans and strategies to eliminate them, in the areas of safety, quality, reliability and cost
Own Key Elements for systems related to power and control system such as electrical safety (LOTO, Electrical PPE, Energized work permits, low voltage qualification, etc.) and Quality/CCP compliance (checkweighers, metal detectors, vision systems, ingredient flows, temperatures, etc.)
Collaborate with leadership on selection and installation of new equipment. Become the technical expert on new equipment and ensures the training of others regarding control systems
Serve as project manager for initiatives ranging from E&I focused projects to complete capital projects
Provide power and controls engineering support on capital initiatives
Learn and apply control, simulation and process modeling technologies to analyze and improve overall process and packaging operations
Compensation range: $93,500 - $136,400 annualized

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years of controls or electrical engineering experience
Understanding of machine and/or process control hardware, instrumentation and software (ex: Allen Bradley PLC, ControlLogix, Wonderware HMI, and Rockwell FactoryTalk)

Cereal Packing Mechanic
As a Cereal Packing Mechanic you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of industrial packaging machinery and equipment, troubleshooting
mechanical issues, leading repairs and modifications, performing preventative maintenance, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, as well as assisting in employee training.
Shift hours:
* 8-hour night shift
* 3rd shift, 10:30pm - 6:30am
* Ability and willingness to work any shift - days, afternoons, nights, as well as most weekends, holidays, and overtime

DuPont is currently hiring for an experienced **Electrical and Instrumentation Technician** at our Yerkes site in Buffalo, NY.
As a Plant Electrical and Instrumentation Technician you will support Automation, Electrical and Process Control systems for a 24/7 manufacturing line. You will provide first contact troubleshooting support and guidance to manufacturing operations and site maintenance electricians. Utilize strong electrical and instrumentation knowledge to maintain and repair plant electrical and process control systems including AC & DC motors and drive systems, PLCs, DCSs, MCCs, HMIs.
**RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION**
**Some of your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:**
+ Provide troubleshooting on electrical and process control systems, applications, and infrastructure to maintain reliable manufacturing production. (Off-hours support and overtime may be required).
+ Portions of the job require working with voltages up to 480V under the guidance of NFPA 70E and DuPont specific electrical safety standards.
+ Participate on capital project improvement teams to implement projects under the direction of the Automation and Process Control Systems Engineers and other Manufacturing Engineers.
+ Participate in regular and scheduled maintenance activities with vendor/contractor support and other internal and external maintenance resources.
+ Ensure all changes follow site Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
+ Participate in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position, including high-risk activities.
+ Follow all plant safety rules and regulations, wear PPE as required per site procedures.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
**Requirements:**
+ A minimum of a 2-year electrical technical/trade school degree or equivalent training is required.
+ Minimum of six (6) years' experience working with instrumentation and electrical controls in industrial manufacturing environments required.
+ Strong working knowledge of standard plant industrial instrumentation including pressure and temperature transmitters, sensors, control valves, etc.
+ Ability to read and understand standard electrical schematic and one-line drawings and vendor equipment manuals.
+ Experience with electrical distribution, arc flash prevention, MCCs, Starters, AC & DC motors and control circuits.
+ Process Safety Management experience and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) preferred (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operations).
+ Experience in Rockwell equipment including CLX PLCs and PowerFlex drives preferred.
+ Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
