The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD chemist with expertise in polymer chemistry and its relevant analytical tools (chromatography, mass spectrometry and/or NMR) to join our corporate R&D team for a 12-month post-doctoral position. The Post Doc - Polymer Characterization Chemist will develop new analytical methodologies and design improved workflows to advance polymer characterization and polymer discovery. Their work will drive raw material and product innovation across multiple businesses at P&G.

Key Responsibilities:
The post-doc will design, execute, integrate and report R&D studies leveraging multiple polymer analytical techniques. This is a lab-focused role requiring superb attention to detail, ability to maintain/improve research processes, and significant hands-on experience with polymer characterization.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Education Requirement: Completed PhD degree, with a major in Chemistry
+ Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and experience developing/executing analytical approaches to solve polymer problems.
+ Practical laboratory experience utilizing high-end analytical instrumentation including chromatographic separations coupled to high-resolution mass spectrometry and/or ancillary detectors.
+ Available for occasional evening calls to collaborate with global teams.
+ Available to work onsite 4-5 days per week at Mason Innovation Center.
Preferred Qualification:
+ Experience with NMR data acquisition and advanced spectral analysis skills (quantitative 1H/13C, 2D methods, diffusion, relaxometry) is a plus.What we offer:

Overview
The Quality Control Technician will be a key member of the US Supply Chain team, collaborating and communicating with receiving, customer success, sales, inventory planning and other departments.

Position Overview
Based in our Dublin, OH R&D Laboratory, we are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Research Chemist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recommending and leading research programs targeted at new molecules, formulations, novel polymers, and advanced materials. This role will contribute directly to our strategic innovation initiatives and product development pipeline.

Job Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental guidelines.

* Conduct fundamental and applied research in areas such as polymerization methods, structure-property relationships, and materials performance.
* Analyze data using advanced techniques (e.g., NMR, FTIR, GPC, DSC, TGA, rheology) and interpret results to guide research direction.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, and manufacturing to translate lab-scale research into commercial applications.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of research activities, including lab notebooks, technical reports, and scientific publications.
Minimum Qualifications
* Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related field.
* 4+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment.
* Background in at least one of the following: small molecule or polymer synthesis, formulation of adhesives, additives or formulations targeted at oil and gas applications, mining applications, or agricultural applications.
* Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and techniques relevant to polymer/material characterization.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, design and lead independent research projects.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and inquisitive mindset.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical documents and present findings clearly.
* Experience in industrial or applied research (preferred but not required).
* Strong computer skills with experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and statistical programs such as JMP and/or MiniTab.
* Must be highly organized and self-directed with good time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with thermosets, thermoplastics, bio-based polymers, adhesives, chemical products for oil and gas applications, additives for mining applications, or formulations for agricultural applications.
* Experience with scale-up and process development.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, TSCA) for chemical products.

The Development Chemist - Liquid R&D is responsible for the formulation, research, and development of new products and colors as well as improvement of existing products.
The successful candidates will have an acceptable score on the color matching and math tests.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop new products for customers per their requirements.
Develop products and solve technical issues with a relatively minor amount of direction.

* Responsible for applied research & development and commercialization of new post etch cleaners and selective etchants for advanced IC technologies.

REQUIREMENTS
* PhD in Chemistry with 1 to 5 years of experience in formulation. Prior industrial research experience in product development in semiconductor technology is highly prefered.
* Experience in developing and applying inorganic or organic solution chemistry to meeting customer requirements. Must be comfortable working safely with hazardous chemicals.
* Understanding Si wafer device processing in wet processing tool operation and process implementation.

The Development Chemist - Defense is responsible for the formulation, research, and development of new products in the defense market.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop new products for defense customers per their requirements.
Develop products and solve technical issues with a relatively minor amount of direction.
Exercise wide discretion when solving challenges.
Provide technical assistance for existing accounts.
Build knowledge of analytical methods for solving problems.
Train production and quality control personnel.
Work with production personnel to solve problems.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Formulates Powder media formulas per manufacturing protocols utilizing various weighing equipment such as scales and balance.
* Uses Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal system in conjunction with the SAP ERP system to ensure correct raw materials assigned in the batch record are weighed at the specified quantity.
* Suggest changes in departmental procedures and processes (SOPs) as needed.
* Performs and documents line clearance at the start of each formulation event.
* Maintains all required logs and associated documentation.
* Assures that all chemicals are stored and labeled properly.
* Performs process scale checks on all required equipment including scales and balances.
* Keeps work area, utensils, tanks, mills, and equipment clean and organized.
* Ensures that supplies needed such as weigh boats, gloves, lab coats, etc. are well stocked in their designated areas. Orders supplies or informs Lead/Supervisor if supplies need to be ordered.
* Follows all safety procedures and works in a safe manner including wearing all required personal protective equipment.
* Understands and follows procedures to ensure that chemicals are handled properly.
* Good understanding of metric system and its conversions.
* Follows and actively participates in sustaining the 6S program in the area.

Required Skills/Education:
