Qualifications and Skills This is not a remote position; this is an in-office position requiring daily commuting to our Lawrence, KS office during the term of the internship. Candidates must reside in the Kansas City metro area. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance or housing support. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or closely related technical field. Must have at least one full college semester remaining after the internship concludes in August 2026 (graduating December 2026 or later). Portfolio: On resume or cover letter, applicants are strongly encouraged to include links to their portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing projects that highlight experience in JavaScript/React and/or C#. Experience preferred: Previous internship or substantial project experience demonstrating proficiency in JavaScript/React and/or C#. Experience with any of the following: Node.js, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Power BI, Git, GitHub, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Revit APIs. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to navigate both backend and frontend technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-you'll need to explain your ideas and convince us why they're worth trying. Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects and bring your own ideas to the table. Other Requirements Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check. Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have access to drive a well-maintained vehicle. Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles.
