The ROCC Manager will help build the control center that monitors and operates the renewable energy production facilities. Through building and managing a viable business plan and budget, they will design, order, and manage the facility, equipment, and personnel required for the operation of the control center. The manager will hire, train and support personnel who will facilitate day to day operations for the ROCC. This position manages and supports daily operations of the renewable energy control center. Supports reporting/settlement duties for the company's generation projects and third-party generation projects. Monitor, schedule, and manage company operations within the ROCC facility. This position ensures CIP compliance throughout the ROCC and ensures safety and reliability standards are met/exceeded. The Junior Estimator - Electrical, Telecom Dry Utility - presents estimates to the leadership team, demonstrating competency in all components of each estimate and includes back-up supporting documentation to defend the estimate and the information used to assemble it. Additionally, the Junior Estimator will monitor ongoing Owner and Developer budgets within the industry sector to track upcoming business development and project bid opportunities. Project Controls Engineer (PCE) - O&M is primarily responsible for setting up jobs, training, and cross-training Field Engineers. The Project Controls Engineer is responsible for progress reporting, cost control analysis, project cost forecasting, cost, and cash flow development, change management and contingency management. This position will be a leader and trainer of construction systems, processes and consistent construction methods for the business unit. This position will be a supervisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the phases of engineering, planning, start-up, construction and closeout. Will work with Supt's to refine crews and methods on the projects and request feedback from Superintendents, Foremen and the project team to determine if existing methods shall be updated or refined. * Will work side by side the Superintendents, GF, and Foremen during planning stages, startup and during each project to coach, mentor and develop these individuals for consistency and efficiency. * Work with each Supt during pre-construction stages to establish equipment plans, labor plans and material plans. Refer and compare back to estimate during this development. * Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods used by the company for estimating and work execution. Work with the Chief Estimator to ensure there is a relationship among all estimators and Supt's. * Support the Site / Construction Manager on each project to ensure adequate and skill sets on the project. * May at times visit proposed project sites to support Estimating and Business Development. * Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead, mentor, and develop Field Engineers. • Participate in new job setup and oversee progress reporting, cost control analysis, project cost forecasting, change management, and contingency management. • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the project stays within scope and various project-related activities. • Train and develop Field Engineers and Project Administrators in Primoris processes and job functions. • Track project progress and financial status, analyzing costs, efficiency, and production. • Support Project Manager and Site Manager with change orders, project budgets, and cost forecasts. • Coordinate project update meetings with clients and internal stakeholders. • Manage the project coordination platform(s) including managing RFIs, submittals, quality documentation, project documentation, etc. by coordinating with responsible parties. • Manage engineering requests and deliverables through the construction phase of the project. • Maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers. • Ensure final inventory and jobsite closeout activities are completed accurately and on time. • Assist Site Manager and Project Manager in the daily operations of the project site. • Work with Trade Superintendents to understand various work disciplines. • Assist with subcontractor-related tasks, purchase requests, agreements, and deliverables. • Assist with permits and compliance as needed. • Ensure drawing redlines are captured accurately and facilitate developing redlines into record drawings. • Participate in lessons learned meetings. • Update the project schedule weekly. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR). • Accounting (math and record-keeping). • Ability to give presentations to groups of up to 10 people. • Involved with and understands 2 or more disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning). • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e-mail) and Visio. • Effective communication (oral, written, presentation), motivation, and supervisory skills. • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks. • Project Controls Engineers are able to work remotely with travel 25%-50% of the time Benefits: 401k w/employer match Health/Dental/Vision insurance plans Paid time off 10 paid holidays Stock purchase plan Salary $70,000- $91,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, conduit installations, and network connections, to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Perform quality control checks on equipment and materials used in the field, ensuring they meet company and customer standards. Review project plans, blueprints, and designs to verify accuracy and ensure that all work meets industry and safety regulations. Document inspection findings, noting any discrepancies or issues, and work with the team to address them promptly. Safety & Compliance: Monitor job sites to ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations and company policies. Identify potential hazards, take proactive steps to address safety concerns, and stop work when necessary to ensure a safe work environment. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work site, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and safe for use. Participate in safety meetings and ensure all field personnel are following proper safety protocols. Reporting & Documentation: Complete detailed inspection reports and submit all required documentation to management, including daily logs, safety compliance reports, and project updates. Track and monitor progress on quality issues, reporting any findings to the project manager or supervisor in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of inspections, job site conditions, and compliance status. Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and field personnel to ensure work is on track and meets quality expectations. Communicate directly with customers' field personnel to ensure quality standards are aligned with customer requirements. Assist in educating team members and QA/QC technicians to refine quality control processes and address recurring field issues. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED required; further education or certifications in quality control or construction management is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications, construction, or quality control. Familiarity with quality assurance procedures, inspection techniques, and industry standards. Skills: Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic networks and cable installations. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot and address quality issues. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform field inspections in outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
