OH Service Center Supervisor

Responsible for shipping and receiving, processing, and administration of samples, which involve knowledge of fundamental lab and administration policies, programs, and practices while completing appropriate forms, documents, and databases. These roles can provide a variety of services in the maintenance of information, shipping, receiving, samples and materials, and related areas. They must also oversee the day-to-day logistics activities, ensure efficient coordination, and drive continuous improvement within the logistics department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and motivation.

Provides a variety of services using warehouse and lab support knowledge covering multiple areas of sample administration, including receiving, scanning, storage, preparation, shipping, and disposal; samples involve fundamental administration.
Reviews, completes, and processes various standard types of logs, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
Picks up, transports, and delivers samples, documents, materials, and other items as needed.
Cleans, maintains, and stocks supplies, tools, paperwork, and related items; disposes of materials and samples using well-established guidelines and instructions.
Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs.
Determines short-holds and rush samples and prioritizes based on project requirements.
Provides fundamental support in the application and assistance to staff and management regarding samples, equipment, and shipping/receiving administration policies, programs, and practices.
Assists in the review and implementation of sampling, equipment, and shipping/receiving administration policies, practices, and programs to meet organizational, operations, and management needs.
Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; receive guidance and direction or escalates when .
Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.

Education and Experience:

JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in the emergency room. Triages each patient and determines priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Key Responsibilities
Loading, hauling, and delivering food waste on intra- and interstate routes with multiple stops ranging from 15-25 per day by routing determined by the Company.
Delivery equipment ranges from 30-45' open-top dump trailers (combination vehicles) across a regional footprint determined by management.
Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles by DOT requirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
Operate manual or electric pallet jack as needed.
Utilize a pressure washer to rinse bins and containers and leave all client locations clean and free of debris.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
Typical use of hand tools for basic repairs of company bins and equipment.
Maintenance of basic truck equipment and overall cleanliness of equipment.
Utilize the electronic logging system for DOT driver logs and as otherwise required.
Maintain paperwork (contamination and service tickets, truck maintenance, etc.) and submit all documentation to the appropriate party.

Typical Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent; supplemented by a minimum of two years of experience in skilled trade, craft, or general maintenance work. Completion of a vocational or technical skilled trades program is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provide the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and other competencies required for the position may be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS, TRAINING, SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's license, Class E or higher.
Within 90 days of employment, must be able to pass the P-card test and be responsible for any p-card issued.
NOTE: All required certifications must be current at the time of application and maintained in an active state as a condition of continued employment.
