Job Functions:
Unmask and inspect parts per the Quality Procedure Manual and customer specifications.
Scrape and touch up parts as needed.
Use job travelers to determine proper packing materials.
Wrap or bag parts as directed and pack in boxes or skids.
Label boxes with customer name, purchase order number, part number, quantity, and name of packer.
Ensure all paperwork is with the finished product.
Move materials and perform housekeeping as required.
Ensure the safety of yourself and others working around you by following Company PPE and Safety/Environmental Policies.
Other duties assigned as needed.
Skills:

You arrive for second shift, review the work orders, and begin by confirming cure and color using the appropriate powder chip. You pull the specified powder from our paint vault inventory, set oven temperatures per manufacturer recommendations, and dial in the powder coating equipment. With a steady hand and a sharp eye, you apply powder to parts, achieving the required finish and thickness, then inspect every piece against customer specifications. Between color changes, you break down and clean the gun, booth, and filters. You wrap up by moving materials as needed and keeping the area spotless.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Make sure all suspect parts have been properly tagged and sent to the designated holding area.
Capable and willing to work overtime.
Works in a safe manner, so not to endanger self or co-workers.
Reports on unsafe conditions.
Wears required personal protective equipment.
Participates in training programs deemed necessary by the company.
Performs other associated duties, functions or work needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.
