Temporary Assignment Are you looking to grow your skills in supply chain or inventory management? We're hiring a Material Distribution Tech to join a hospital-based team in Olympia, WA, where you'll gain hands-on experience supporting essential healthcare operations. What You'll be Doing… · Receive incoming stock and non-stock shipments at the receiving dock · Crosstrain and assist with inventory coordination when not on the dock · Use Geniss and a computerized Materials Management Information System (MMIS) to track and manage supplies · Conduct physical inventories and replenish supply areas, including patient care and ancillary departments · Pick, deliver, and stock both stock and non-stock supplies with accuracy · Coordinate outgoing freight and parcel shipments · Respond to phone, fax, and electronic supply requests Here's what your work history needs to show as evidence that you're the right candidate… · At least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in inventory systems, receiving, warehousing, and/or supply distribution using a computerized MMIS in a perpetual inventory system · Coursework or formal training in inventory or supply distribution management (preferred but not mandatory) · Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment (preferred but not mandatory) · Familiarity with material handling equipment such pallet jacks or hand trucks (preferred but not mandatory) Here's the important details: · Location: Olympia, WA · Pay Rate: $22 to $24 per hour · Assignment Duration: 3 months with potential to extend or convert to hire · Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm (flexible start time) · Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check, provide up to date immunization records, and a recent health screening.
