Pacific BioLabs company history timeline

1982

Pacific BioLabs was founded in 1982 as Northview Pacific Labs (NVP), the West Coast division of Northview Biosciences, Inc.

2000

NVP operated for 18 years in its original facility in Berkeley, CA. In 2000, the company moved their operations to a new purpose-built facility in Hercules, CA.

2006

In 2006, the Northbrook, IL and Spartanburg, SC facilities of Northview Biosciences were sold to SGS. Northview Pacific was spun out as an independent entity and renamed Pacific BioLabs, retaining the same family ownership as when it was Northview Pacific Labs.

2012

To further expand its capabilities and better serve the pharma, biotech, and medical device sectors, Pacific BioLabs purchased Bay Bioanalytical Laboratory in 2012.
