Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Coordinator The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides essential support to the Accounting team by ensuring accurate and timely payment of all company obligations to vendors and subcontractors. This role supports project and financial operations through invoice processing, vendor coordination, and compliance with construction payment requirements, including California lien law. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Job Responsibilities includes (but may not be limited to):
Process timely and accurate entry of vendor and subcontractor invoices
Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries
Route invoices to appropriate parties for approval and properly index documents within the Paperless system
Perform the weekly check run for subcontractors and vendors and process payments through Procore Pay
Support compliance with California lien law requirements, including preliminary notices and lien releases
Assist with accounts payable reporting and special projects as needed
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of construction-related accounts payable experience
Working knowledge of construction accounts payable processes, including subcontractor, trade and purchase orders
Proficiency with MS Office
Working knowledge of California Preliminary Notices and Lien Releases
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with Procore and Procore Pay
